I would definitely give him A's all the way down the line. He's like a one-man operation. He's always responsive, always on time, very helpful, and I don't think he charges enough but I'm not gonna tell him that. He's just a small time guy, a one-man operation. He doesn't even have business cards. He's great. I would say he's no frills, honest, punctual, and very knowledgeable.

We have had the very good fortune to use Larry of Eagle Appliance Repair Service three times; once to repair a washing machine, once a freezer, and the last time a dryer. Each time Larry was immediately responsive to our phone calls, arrived promptly at agreed times and charged a more than fair fee. He was professional, knowledgeable, and reliable in every way. I finally found an appliance repair person who is professional, knows what he is doing, and is very reasonably priced. He came to my house to figure out why the water dispenser was not working on our refrigerator. He then ordered the necessary part, called me when it arrived, and was there the next business day to install it. All for less than what I thought he would charge (the total charge was $153 when the part alone cost $75). I would use him again in a heartbeat.

It was a terrific experience. Very pleasantly surprised. He is an old school gentleman. Larry kept his appointments and was able to get the parts I needed (I was worried I'd have to replace the unit). I enjoyed chatting with him as well. Have him show you the picture of his grandfather, you'll get a kick out of it. His price was so reasonable I offered to pay him more but he refused. Highly recommend!

The service was prompt and the access to the frig and the repair were performed in an expedient manner. Larry was very pleaseant. I know that there is a bit of work involved in gaining access into the working parts which are behind the freezer drawer but the whole thing went very well.

Larry was great to have around and fixed the broken ice maker for a very fair price. I was surprised how much work Larry had to do to disassemble the freezer to get to the source of the problem. He worked patiently and diligently and had to thaw a bunch of ice before he could even see the source of the problem (a valve). The repair was completed over two visits as he needed to order the valve. I also had him change the ice maker water filter while he was at it. The fridge was not very expensive to begin with so I was worried that the repair might cost more than the fridge was worth, but this turned out not to be an issue. For about $100 parts and labor, I now have a working ice maker again. Yay! Great repair for a great value. Thanks Larry!

This guy is truly great. He is prompt, polite, and professional. He took my call this morning and fit me into this afternoon, which was critical because my refrigerator was no longer pumping cold air -- just air. He arrived when he said he would and, with a calm demeanor, went about assessing the problem. He told me up front that if it was the compressor, it was likely better to just get a new fridge (of course, he could have said that it was something he could fix -- and I'm sure he can -- but he was honest despite the fact that it wasn't to his financial benefit). But if it was a relay, it was an easy fix. Well, luckily, it was the relay. He fixed it in a short span of time and then recommended another minor (free) fix to improve the energy efficiency of the fridge.
All in all, he is exactly the kind of repair man I want to call. Very glad I used him instead of one of the bigger companies. I highly recommend him.

My old Maytag washer was leaking, making noise and no longer agitating te wash during a cycle, so I called Eagle Rock Appliances. A very nice older gentleman named Larry came out , quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. A few days after the repair it began leaking again. Larry came right out and fixed it free of charge. Turned out the new part was defective.

He came out and fixed it. It was inexpensive. There was a mistake made and it affected it. He came back immediately and fixed it at no cost. I was very pleased with his work. It was reasonable. He was very responsive and professional. He did not overcharge me and came right back out when there was an issue. He definitely knew what he was doing.

Larry rocks. We've used him several times this last year ~ washer, furnace, dryer too, I think. He's always prompt, does great work, easy going, won't waste your time or his if it's outside his scope of ability. I'd have him do my taxes, babysit and cut my hair if it were in his wheelhouse.

They were outstanding. I spent $100 on the job. I went back to the guy that did the work originally and he fixed the problem. They were nice, but they didn’t solve the problem. The guy was very prompt and available. He was responsive, but he didn’t solve the problem. The price was too high. He kept charging me to come back. That is when I stopped using him. He came out, couldn’t do the repair, and then charged me for the service call. When he came back, he charged me again. The other guy didn’t charge me at all until he was sure it was done properly. I will not use this company again in the future.

We had the freezer was not keeping cold enough, and he properly diagnosed the problem as a burned out heater unit. Yes, the defroster has a heater, and since it wasn't working, the coils got full of ice and weren't cooling the freezer anymore. He removed and installed and new heater element and everything worked great. In addition, we had noticed that our oven had never worked quite right since we bought the house. Had him check it out, and again, there was a bad heating element. Once fixed, everything was great. Very happy with the service.

Terrific, without exception. Returned my initial call promptly, set up an appointment, arrived at the appointed time, diagnosed the problem, phoned me to agree on the next step, replaced the broken pump and left the old part in case I wanted to look at it. At about half the price Sears would have charged.
