I was half-way through a DIY repair project when I got stumped. My toilet was leaking, and I just needed to replace the washers around the toilet tank bolt. Unfortunately, the leak had caused the bolt to rust itself shut, fusing it into an un-removable hunk of metal. After several hours of futility, I searched (without Angies List) and found the plumber nearest to my house.
Joe promptly returned my phone call, and offered me some suggestions over the phone to try and release the bolt. When that didn't work, he came over exactly when he said he would and made short work of my problem. He gave me some advice about how to finish the job, and he charged me the price he quoted over the phone.
He is very affable, thorough, and knowledgeable. I would recommend him without hesitation, and will call him at the first sign of any plumbing troubles in my house.
