Paul Proctor warned me that Bob Trout was poor at getting back to people. But he said the quality of Bob's work was high. Well, Paul was absolutely right about Bob Trout's responsiveness. Getting him to call me back was like pulling teeth. I usually had to leave 2 or 3 voicemails over several days before he would call me back. And this was while I was paying him $3500 for my skylight! We've had no problems with the quality of the skylight itself. However, Bob Trout did do a poor job of the wiring on the lighting. About two years later, all the electricity in our kitchen suddenly went out. It turns out that Bob Trout had not securely connected all the electrical connections in the wiring above our kitchen. I had to pay an electrician $150 to fix it. I sent Bob a fax explaining that this had happened, but never heard back. In sum, Bob seems to build good skylights and works well with Paul Proctor. But you'll have a heck of a time staying in communication with him.

They were a very good company. They had twenty windows that needed to be installed. The quality work was great and two people came to our home to do the whole job. All the windows fit very nice and look good.

They were very good & he is a licensed contractor that performs quality work. He was very professional & takes pride in his work. The owner runs the show. They have been in business for a long time & are very experienced. The finished work was very nice. You can't even tell it is a new window.
