About us
Pete Gluhaich has been in the landscaping industry for over 20 years. After graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1981, Pete farmed in his family's business until 1985. He then became a Pest Control Advisor for a nursery/park entity which inspired him to start his own business. In 1988 he earned his Landscape Construction license (C-27) and started Greenstreak Landscaping Inc. in 1989, earning a B-1 General Contractors' license soon after. Since then, Greenstreak has grown to be one of the most recognized landscape companies in the area, receiving over 50 various regional, state and national awards. Over the years, Pete has trained and created a crew and office staff that has the necessary craftsmanship and personable skills to satisfy our clients. Greenstreak Landscaping Inc. is an active member in the California Landscape Contractors Association. A member of the Central Coast, Pete has served as Chapter President and also as head of the state wide educational committee. We provide Full Service Landscape Installation including, Project Design, Irrigation and Drainage Systems, Water Features, Hardscape Construction, Planting, Woodworking, Water Management, and Outdoor Lighting. Our Organic Maintenance division includes regular Mowing with Organic Fertilization and Pest Control, and Rainwater and/or Gray Water Harvesting.

- major trenching to connect new drainage to existing drain pipes;
- installation of irrigation system for plants, trees and ground cover;
- building a new, curved planter bed wall to exactly match stone, coping and and quot;lookand quot; of existing planter;
- addition and integration of new topsoil in all areas to be planted;
- installation of flagstone and quot;patioand quot; and walkways;
- designing, building and installing a large pergola over an existing cement patio;
- providing and planting new trees, bushes and ground cover (while working around pre-existing trees, bushes and hardscape);
- delivery and installation of shredded bark as mulch over all planted areas;
- follow-up to replace plants killed by winter frost.
The only reason i graded them and quot;Band quot; on price was because I always think things should cost less than they do (my bad) and I gave them a and quot;Band quot; on punctuality, not because they didn't show up when they said they would, (they always did) but because the job took months instead of weeks--and of course that NEVER happens with contractors! LOL.
