Sheetrock installation and taping OK. Texturing OK then sanding finish a disaster. The texturing gentlemen assured me they would LIGHTLY sand just the trowel lines and keep it heavy as we requested. A different crew showed up to sand. I was told hours later by my Prime Contractor that they were currently sanding and would clean up after. I immediately went to look at the work and they had sanded the entire project almost flat. We immediately complained to our prime contractor. He had the owner of Faria Drywall call me. He was rude, did not accept the fact that it was sanded too flat even though he had never been here to see the pre-sanded texture. Did not offer to fix the problem, said "I don't care. I just want to be paid". And said "This is our Old World Heavy style for people who live in Sunnyvale". "Southern California likes it more heavy". He could care less we requested "Heavy" texture on our bldg.
