They quickly responded to subsequent email questions and we booked our service.
They showed up on time (two workers), were very professional, and performed their work efficiently. They also seemed very knowledgeable and were very considerate about our hard wood floor.
If you are looking for a solid company to do your dryer vent cleaning, you should definitely give CAQ a try.
Local, family run business. Crew of 3 arrived on time and all participated. Professional, well-educated in their field, and willing to answer our many questions as the work was done. Job was completed in a little over an hour. Nice selling feature was the transparent box that they used which shows the dust as it is being removed by their vacuum from the individual vents and air ducts. We also saw the equipment that they use to agitate the dust inside of the air duct to loosen it for removal by the vacuum. I think they said they can reach into ducts that are up to 35' in length.
We noticed the difference in the air quality by the next morning. The heater has been on at night since the weather got colder. We are able to breathe easier now and there is less coughing.
Tips for the consumer considering this type of work:
1. Don't wait 20 years to have this done. It makes a difference.
2. Locate all your vents and pull your furniture out of the way to allow access for the workmen or their ladder (if you have ceiling vents, too).
3. Cover things that may be harmed by a little dust. There could be a little escaping.
4. Have a new furnace filter on hand to be installed when the furnace cleaning is finished. We use Allergen filters and change them regularly.
