I contracted with Marlon Vidal to install an electric gate motor, mesh, sensors, and safety devises onto and existing gate and he still has not finished the job as of August 3 2012 even though I already paid him $2500 of the $3000 job. I called Marlon for an estimate on May 30 2012. On June 3 2012 we contracted for $2000 up front and for the remaining $1000 to be paid when the job was done. June 5 2012 Marlon sent out a guy who dug a hole, ran pipes and poured the cement for the gate motor foundation. It took many phone calls and text messages to get him to finally come out and put in the motor and wiring in on June 21 2012. Also on June 21, when he also gave me 5 gate transmitters, he told me that to finish the job it would cost $3500 even though we contracted for $3000. I said I would like him to put some higher quality mesh if I am going to pay $3500 and he said to send me pictures of what kind of mesh I want and he would give me a quote for how much more it would be than his original increase over our breached contracted amount of $3000. He also asked for $500 more up front to continue working. I gave him the $500 on June 21 and sent him the pictures of the fancy mesh on June 30th. Even though I paid him another $500 and text and called him many more times, he has still not put up the cheap mesh that I paid him for, or the fancy mesh, or the walkway sensors, or the walkway gate doorknob, or the doorknob lock, or the walkway gate spring or the doorknob metal protection cover so people can’t reach over the gate and turn the door knob, or the mail man access sensor, or the driveway gate chain and motor child safety protection covering from the driveway gate chain or the metal motor theft protection box. I have texted him many times and he said he is looking for the fancy mesh. On August 3, 2012, I called the gate company who referred Marlon Vidal and complained about Marlon and ask them to ask Marlon to finish the job. On August 3, 2012, Marlon text me and said that he would come out next week to install the chain protection, the lock box and the sensor for the walkway gate. I asked him what about the signs and mesh. He said he would install the signs. I still have no mesh on my gate to protect kids from getting their arms broke in between the moving gates. I am still waiting for the job to be finished. He seems like a nice trustable guy, but I have wasted so much time, energy and lost sleep on many nights trying to get this guy to work! His Name is Marlon Vidal and the name of his company on the contract is Vidso Access Systems 17014 S Berendo Ave Gardena, CA 90247
