Personal Photos and other items were not protected by packing paper

The movers wrapped all my furniture and were very careful with everything.

Took lots of breaks. Great attitude but just took there time , did not finish job.

The employees were great. Very professional and efficient. Even with all the boxes I had them move.

Two moves. One was file cabinets from my office to storage. They wrapped the file cabinets in plastic to protect them. The second was the furniture in my office to home. I garage sales most of it the following weekend. Everything was moved without damage.

Quick, efficient, friendly

I was gifted a very nice and very large LG refrigerator, but considering how large and cumbersome it is, I knew I should not even attempt to have myself or friends move it. So, I sought out professional help and Silver Star looked like a great option. I agreed to their price, and to be fair, everything was executed very well up to the date of the actual move. I suspect that the movers they dispatched for my job just were not very experienced. It was necessary to remove the doors of the fridge, something I had warned Silver Star about from the start, but these movers simply could not figure out how to do so. They tried their best, I will give them that, but after some considerable time they simply gave up when it came to the door that housed the ice dispenser; seeing as they could not figure out how to detach the wiring. Their intent was then to lay the door on top of the fridge, but well, it did slide off and violently tugged against the wiring. They muscled their way forward on the job anyway and made quite the mess along the way. Damage was sustained to my apartment and the fridge itself. One of the most annoying things being this incessant beeping that the fridge was making after it was put in place in my apartment. To their credit, Silver Star did send out their guys (2 separate visits over 4 days) to help with that and did get the beeping to stop; thank goodness. I have however hit a wall when it comes to asking for any help in regards to the damage the apartment has suffered. Near as I can tell, it is their intent to ignore me and hope I give up. That just will not do. This is a nice fridge and now it has been marred with this big dent. I am then afraid that the apartment complex will put me on the hook for the property damage; we are talking about flooring damage, a messed up window screen, and a big scratch in a kitchen cabinet. Please Silver Star; do the right thing and repair the damage that your workers caused.

Extremely professional and accommodating

Crew was an assortment of different personality types, but all was good. Everyone was responsive to requests and worked very hard. Our leader was George who deserves his own reality show. We just picked the company at random after the one we usually use had no availability and all worked out well in a ten hour day.

I had called and explained what I needed to be done. They sent me an estimate. On the day of the move, they were supposed to show up in the morning and there were two delays because of vehicle breakdowns with the movers not showing up until 1 p.m. The movers were professional and friendly and did a good job. But, when it came time to pay, the final outcome was pretty much twice the estimated cost. I contacted the office to ask them to review the paperwork to ensure I was charged properly. The person I dealt with was friendly and reassuring. I was told that I was due a discount and that they would get back in touch with me, which they never did. I reached out a couple more times, but no response.

Silver Star Movers were amazing. I hired two movers (Nester and Iggy) to help me move out of my college dorm and they were so helpful. They were early and very communicative about their timing. Very friendly and moved everything very quickly and carefully. I will definitely hire them again and recommend them highly! Very affordable and great service.

2 men came to help moving from one bedroom 2nd floor no elevator to one bedroom 2nd floor no elevator, initially contracted 7 hours but it ended up being 9 hours, the bill got higher than expected but it totally worth the money. 2 guys (sorry dont remember names...) were such hard working team, professional, courteous, and fun and positive. Highly recommended.

They were flexible. They understood our situation. They showed up on time. They kept in communication. Office staff were great to work with, they all had info about our office move so they obviously communicated well with each other.

We can't say enough wonderful things about the team at Silver Star Moving. They were able to move our 70 employees within three days and were professional, friendly and most importantly, they never said no to any of our requests. They were AWESOME.

I was moving from a home where I had lived for 30 years. I was feeling very anxious about the whole situation, but especially selecting the right movers. Too many horror stories from friends! The day I called Silver Star and Hana answered the phone I was just minutes away from feeling relief. This company made themselves available to me to answer my many questions and to basically hold my hand through the process. Their work crew wrapped and moved my things very gently and I am so pleased. I hope I never have to go through the process of moving again, but if I do I will choose Silver Star. The office team was very helpful and responsive. The moving team was on time, professional, and provided service with a smile. They verified all details before starting the job. My small local move was as uneventful as I hoped.
