This is not a Lowes, Home Depot or Armstrong, plants for the masses type place. Moneta has been around at least 50-60 years servings the community. They have the best and often varieties suitable for your taste and growing climate.
They are professional and helpful.

I went to replace a tree (from another source) which had died.

The replacement tree is healthy and growing.

The number of plants, trees, shrubs available is astounding. If you can't find it here, you can't find it!

Our landscaper recommended Moneta Nursery when we wanted topurchase some Scotts time-release fertilizer. None of the big-box storesor even Armstrong’s carried this unique fertilizer. We were grateful forthe recommendation because Moneta not only had the fertilizer we wanted but also had a great selection of color plants, vegetables and ornamentals.
Recently I needed to find an oxalis-specific herbicide for use on mylawn. Again, none of the and quot;big guysand quot; and none of the independent nurseries I visited carried the product and buying on-line was prohibitivebecause of the shipping cost. At Montea I found not just one but twoproducts that were oxalis specific. Michael, who is usually at theregister, has always been very helpful and knowledgeable.

This nursery is huge, and it's relaxing to stroll around the acres of trees available for sale. The staff was helpful, explaining the care my tree would need.
