The overall experience was great with one big caveat: they were two days late delivering the furniture.
The plan was to deliver on Thursday or Friday. When I called the driver on Wednesday to find out what time the truck would be at our house, he was under the impression that someone from their (Wisconsin?) headquarters had already called me. Apparently, the company told the driver to make another stop so my furniture wouldn't be arriving until Sunday. I called Carol and to her credit she didn't pass the buck and promised to look into it. She called headquarters and yes, another stop had been added. There was really nothing I could do about it. It stipulated in the contract that they would reimburse me $150 per day in related expenses for each day I had to wait. A woman from headquarters called me and apologized and promised to reimburse me as soon as possible, after receiving my receipts. I did get a check in the mail promptly.
On the plus side, the furniture arrived at 8:00 on the dot Sunday morning. Nothing was broken and nothing was missing, from as far as I've been able to tell, which is really what matters most to me.
