Deckrite Waterproofing Co Inc

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in hiring a supposed professional!  Scott was recommended to me by a contractor whom I have hired in the past and will hire again - however DECKRITE I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND!  If I had come to Angie's List first I would not have hired them!  
First they sent a guy out to rip up my deck without sending me a contract or anything, I was not told he was coming to tear out my deck = I had not yet agreed to hire them, I had not seen a contract  The workers that Deckrite hires  are shady and unporfessional and were very rude when I asked why he was cutting my deck up.  He said you call Scott!  I said no you need to leave until Scott calls me.  I did not know they were sending anyone out so the fact that there was a man in my backyard cutting into my deck was shocking enough - then to be told to leave him alone to do his work and call Scott if I did not like it was  WRONG!  Once he realized I would not let him finish he left!  I think its Deckrites way of gettig business-they come out and give you a verbal "quote" and then randomly send someone out to rip it up so that you are forced to hire them to fix it.  I phoned him only to realize that I had a better chance of getting Jesus Christ on the phone.  He does not answer his cell phone and there is no ability to leave a msg on his cell phone either... I phoned the office to which I was put in Voicemail.  It was that way the entire time in dealing with Scott.  
I finally got the contract which while I was reading it - discovered that it stated they do not guarantee the work being performed... WHAT?!?!  When I brought that to light with Scott he agreed to "cross that out and sign it"  WHAT?!?  So crazy!  
I was bullied into having them do the work and every single step was just as painful as the last.  The deck is done -  and I  am just glad to not have his crew showing up whenever they feel like it.  Workers would come and go randomly which I find very inconvenient altogether.  This was not a great experience and I suggest you use ANYONE other than DEKRITE!

Quality of work and responsiveness to inquiries was very good (provided that it has not yet rained...) job took longer than expected to complete.

The project took incredibly long time, and Scott the owner, never called us back whenever we used to call him.  It is hard to find someone who does a good decking work; but Scott can be difficult to deal with it.
