Charles Trujillo did a great job patiently explaining how he was going to meet the challenge of attaching drywall to my cinder block wall and then he and his son followed through, completing the drywall and painting in two days. The quote was higher than some, but I am confident the work will hold up and it is backed by a year's warranty. Moreover, the crew did touchup painting of the ceiling and at my request returned to push my bed to the exact spot where it previously stood so no carpet pressure marks were visible.

Charlie did a great job, starting with putting up plastic to protect the floors, furniture and rest of the house. The work was done with care to get a quality result. The final repairs blend perfectly with the existing ceiling and walls. He was very professional in planning, discussing and completing the work. Cleanup was very thorough. His price seemed reasonable based on other descriptions on Angie's List, but I didn't get any other bids and don't have much other experience. My focus was more on getting a quality job completed.

Coming out of a bad remodel and because permits were not pulled as promised a lot of work had to be repeated. I was so impressed by the high quality of work that was performed. I was lucky to catch him at the right time and work was started immediately.

Charlie did an excellent job from start to finish. He put drop cloths down to fully protect the work area and cleaned up after the work was completed. He asked plenty of questions about what I wanted with regard to various aspects of the job, particularly with regard to the wall texture needed to match the adjoining walls. He was very friendly and professional, punctual, reasonably priced. I would definitely call him again in the future.

Charlie arrived as scheduled despite the rain. He repaired the drywall crack leaving no trace it existed and matched the existing texture perfectly. TruWall's owner agreed to arrive between 1-4 pm to provide a free estimate for work. He did not call during this time to communicate he was running late. He did not answer his phone when I called. He arrived late about 5 pm. I asked him to furnish an estimate for water damaged drywall repair, painting and minor electrical work (all services listed on profile as provided by his company). Except for the electrical work, this scope was described by my initial Angieslist message. He surprised me by saying he did not perform painting or electrical work. Later he said he was busy. After all of this, he made up excuses why he could not provide an estimate for even the drywall repairs. I have obtained multiple estimates for this same work from other top rated AngiesList companies and all estimates were cheerfully and promptly provided. In addition, all other companies set a specific time to meet at the site and actually showed up at the agreed time. What a waste of time working with Tru-Wall Pro. I would not recommend this company except for very minor repairs and... Make sure that you have the time to waste. (Since my initial review, Tru-Wall has provided comments to the effect that he is more experienced than me: maybe I am a simple homeowner or a woman who doesn't understand construction. I would like to clarify that I have been a licensed engineer for 35 years, with primary experience in the building and construction areas. I have worked as a construction manager for over 10 years on many projects exceeding $10 million. I have rental properties, and am well familar with water damage problems, as well contractor excuses.)

I called 9 days ago for an estimate of a project, I never received a call back.
