 + -1 moreTom Quental is a general contractor that can do just about anything, and he's been a pleasure to work with. Tom and his crew have spent the last five months in my home while my family was living there. Tom has been very flexible and accommodating during this process. If you've ever lived in a house that was under construction, you know never to do it again. Even so, Tom divided the work into phases so we could live in one part of the house while they worked on another. Our remodel job was huge, but Tom also does small jobs. Tom has been honest, he looks out for his customers and he goes the extra mile every chance he gets. He also does beautiful work. His crew is a great bunch of guys that really care about doing a good job. We're very happy with the job Tom Quental has done for us and would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: We did a complete remodel of our 37 year old home, inside and out. All new windows and doors, moved or rebuilt every interior wall except two. Doubled the size of our kitchen, moved two bathrooms (removed two and then built two new ones) and expanded/rebuilt a third, put in a master suite and completely new hardscape and masonry outside, including retaining walls. There isn't much that we didn't do. We moved our front door and completely changed the front of the property. They took out an old stairway and put in a new one, put in four Solatube skylights and changed a vaulted ceiling to a coffered ceiling. The house is now very energy efficient with our double pane windows, tankless water heaters, natural lighting (Solatubes) and new insulation.
