 + 3 moreIt was put on my existing patio so he started with cinderblocks filled with cement, then framed and installed the wood floor. Constructed, framed, and installed the walls. Framed and added the roof. Installed moisture barrier on walls, 3 windows, 2 vents, and the door. Poured a cement step at front door. Added siding and trim to the exterior walls. Added the inside shelves and carpet. Added the "caboose" shed attached to the exterior back wall: shelves, sides, and doors. Then they sealed everything, and painted the exterior to match my house! I have the highest regard for Jim and Jeff. They are honest, fair, competent professionals. I have been using them for multiple projects since 2010 and I have recommended them to several friends. They have always been very accommodating with every request I make. I have used them to remodel my bedroom and master bath, to add storage space and lighting to house and garage, etc. They replaced an air duct in my attic that had been crushed by another contractor (who didn't even bother to tell me they crushed it), had to cut through my kitchen ceiling to get at it, and closed it up seamlessly! No matter how large or how small, I have always been very happy with the finished projects.
Description of Work: I had a large (9'x13') storage shed built in my backyard from the ground up. It has a peaked roof, 3 rows of shelves around the walls, 3 windows, wooden floor with carpet, metal door and security screen. I wanted a storage "room" for items I would normally store inside my house or garage. I asked him to add an extra storage "caboose" with shelves and hooks inside, and doors that can be locked with a padlock. It's attached to the outside back of the shed for garden tools, solar lights, wagon...things we use in the yard. I had some shelves attached on the exterior of the caboose sides for plant pots.
