California Alpha Painting and Maintenance

My goal in life is to avoid stress and my experience with California Alpha Painting was about as stress-free as is possible.   I had a tough time deciding on a painter; my house is big and we had both a lot of new wood ? baseboards, casings, doors and
crown ? and lots of old wood that had previously been painted with oil-based paint.  I knew that it wouldn?t be easy to get the very smooth finish that I wanted.  I selected California Alpha in part because my friend recommended them  and in part because Michael, the RMO, was so easy to work with during the bid process. 
The work got scheduled very quickly.   At first, I was concerned because only two painters were assigned, but I quickly
realized that they were fantastic and felt that I was better off with a well-oiled team of two ? in this case, brothers ?than a bigger team that might not work together as well.  I couldn?t ask for more in terms of ability, attention to detail, and just being nice and dependable guys.  Whenever I mentioned something that I thought needed touch-up, there was no defensiveness, just a real desire to please.  I was very impressed with how they take such pride in their work. 
On most days, both Michael, and Young, the CEO, came to check on things and to make sure that I was happy.  On a couple of occasions, there was a choice to make about what type of paint to use and both times they advised me to use the
more expensive paint, even though the amount I was charged didn?t differ.  Each day, we reviewed what would be done that
day and the following day, so my husband and I could prepare.  Everyone listened to what we wanted and that made us happy.
We are going to do some work in two of our bathrooms soon
and after that, we will paint those bathrooms and some closets.  And, after some landscaping is done, we will
paint the exterior of our home.  We plan
to use California Alpha Painting again after the wonderful experience we just
had.

Very professional and high quality work. Accommodated a date change for the work at the last minute with no concerns. Preparation in covering floors etc very thorough. Very happy with the work provided for a fair price.

Did minimal prep work. The crew needed to be supervised.Sloppy job according to my wallpaper hanger,handyman,carpenter and carpet installer.

This was the best paint experience we have ever had.  They arrived promptly with a crew of 7 people.  They were very organized and tackled the job in 2 days.  They were very professional and did an excellent job.  This was 8 months ago and I haven't found any areas of concern.  They did a great job and plan to use again.  They were also competitively priced.  Family owned and run business which took pride in their workmanship.

We wanted to update the paint on the interior and exterior of the house we just bought because it hadn't been painted in a while. The painters came in and patched and caulked everything and did two coats of paint. They were courteous and showed up on time every day. They also did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I thought that they did an excellent job on the paint.
We only had one problem and it was on the exterior. After a couple of months a yellow staining started to develop on the eves and around the doors and windows we had painted white. We called Alpha and they promptly came out and fixed the problem at no additional cost to us. That to me is a sign of a good company. No complaining they just came out and fixed it.

I saw that they painted 2 of my neighbor's houses. I really liked their work so I called and received an estimate. They first did 2 rooms in my home and then the exterior. They are very clean and on time.
