Upon first inspection, the job looked fantastic.  After a couple of weeks, and other vendors being inside the house to install different things, I found several places where paint had just scratched off when something was propped against the wall.  At first I thought perhaps whoever did it was too rough, but when it happened to me on several occasions I have come to believe that the paint was watered down and/or two coats were not applied as promised.  In touching up an area around new cabinets that were installed in the bathroom, the paint peeled off easily and was very thin. I also expected a semi-gloss to be applied to the banisters, due to the amount of use they get, and it wasn't, so now I have to repaint them myself.

We could not be more thrilled with our experience. From the very first phone call with Gloria to the very end... everything went perfectly! I called the the company on Tuesday and was able to meet with Mr. Lim on Thursday. He quietly listened to everything I said and offered a bit of input. Within two hours of leaving my residence, I received a phone call letting me know that a proposal had been sent. After receiving a hand full of bogus estimates, I found Mr. Lim's offer to be extremely fair and took it immediately. We were in somewhat of a pinch and needed the work done ASAP, so I was floored when I found out they would be sending a crew the very next day. The men showed up on time, set up the work space promptly, and got right to it-- sanded, primed, painted, and cleaned up in less than 8 hours. They were professional, and courteous, and made sure to double check colors with me before applying any paint. I could not be happier with the way A-1 conducted their business. We will absolutely be using them for the rest of our painting needs from now on!

They came out and worked long hours, and were finished in 4 days. We did our homework and found them to be very reasonably priced. They used high quality paint and have recommend them to others. They want to make sure you are satisfied and I felt like I was their top priority.

Mr. Lim is very knowledgeable, courteous and makes sure his crew gets the job done in time and that they do a good job. He does have different crews working for him, so make sure you ask for his BEST guys - we did have one experience where we needed a small drywall repair patch job that did not go well, but for the big jobs I really think they did great! And the prices are definitely affordable.
