Woods Plumbing

Plumber arrived on time, looked at the work to be done and gave me an accurate assessment of the cost.  He did the job very well, even while answering questions I had for him.  He cleaned up the work site.  The system has worked very well, no leaks, no problems at all.

While inspecting my home after the tenants moved out, I found a sink drain full of sun-flower seeds.  As we are listing the home for sale, I needed someone to come and fix this issue last minute. I am grateful that Woods was able to send someone out last minute.  However, I do feel that the $85 they charge for service call seems a bit much for technician to just pull out a shop-vac and vacuum out the drain...

He responded two times, once because my tenant didn't answer the door, but he came back again, fixed the problem and didn't charge me at all.

I called Woods Plumbing for help with some non-emergency, nagging plumbing problems.  Although they were busy, Brian went out of his way to fit me into his schedule.  He came when he said he would and quickly addressed several small problems.  While we thought our repairs were pretty straight forward, Brian wasn't quite satisfied with the fix on a running toilet that I have been battling for some time.  He could have left, and our problem would have been 90% fixed.  Instead, he told me his concerns and continued to work on it.  I really appreciate that he didn't do "just enough" and call it done.  Turns out he was right to be concerned, and after further troubleshooting we decided--with Brian providing information, advice, and options but not pushing us one way or the other--to replace the toilet, which he accomplished quickly and professionally.
What started as a straight-forward, routine repair job turned into something that required multiple visits and more of his time than we expected, but Brian was professional, patient, and thorough throughout.  His rates are very fair and were explained up front.  Great guy who I will definitely use again in the future. 

Good job cutting the sheetrock so that I could easily replace it; properly secured the pipes; showed me how easy the water softener unit is to fill and check and the RO system is to check and replace filters; worked quickly and cleanly; he called a month later to see how my system is working and if I had any questions. I would definitely call hi back for any additional plumbing work.

Workers friendly and thorough on 1/22.  They did not rush but work preceded smoothly and the job passed Sac. County inspection without a hitch.  Workers returned to turn on gas and collect final payment and surprised me by hooking up my Home Depot purchased fire-log to the gas line which saved me time.

Excellent. Brain was the man. He arrived promptly and immediately attacked the job. He was here less than an hour and took the time to teach me how to do the work.

Estimate was given.  We changed one item, by adding the BBQ line via telephone.  We were quoted the difference in price.  We choose Woods and made an appointment for installation.  We made an appointment for installation.  Woods was very professional--showed up early for all appointments and paid special attention to keeping our  home clean.  They did the job.  After the insert was installed the caulking around the outside of the connection came loose.  I called Woods, they came out within a couple of days and redid the caulk, no questions asked.  A very good experience.

  Because my house is old he had to make a larger hole than he thought. He actually went and got some sheetrock and repaired the hole and did a great job even though he isn't a sheetrocker! He did not charge me extra. He did a great job and was very nice and professional. He cleaned up and even vacumed the area and moved my stove to the new place. The only issue was later in the evening when I was going was some dishes I did not have any hot water. When he had to shut off the gas the pilot light went out. I called and left a message since it was after 6:30 pm. In the meantime my neighbor came over and was able to light the pilot light. An hour or so later Brian Wood returned my call ( he had been out on a job and just got home) he apoligized profusely and said Aaron was on his way over to light the pilot light. I told him thank you for calling and for the fact that the problem was going to be handled right away but I had already solved the issue. I am Very satisfied with the work and will absolutely use them again.

We were referred to him by Custom Fireside Brian was very punctual. His work was very thorough and meticulous. He was very fastidious, leaving his work areas neat and clean. Very personable. The price for the job was more than reasonable. No complaints and will definitely use his services again, if needed and highly recommend this company

I called woods plumbing on a Sunday night and they answered right away and made an appointment for me the next day. Brian called me and said he could be even earlier than the original appt. time!!! He fixed my problem in under an hour and my total bill was only 90$!! They were amazing from start to finish and I will definitely use them again!!!!

The first person we had look at the shower/tub thought the repair would involve tearing into the wall to get to it, so I had Woods come and give me an estimate.  They immediately diagnosed the problem as just needing to replace both faucet and shower head without any damage to walls, so I made an appt. for the repair.  They gave me a window of time (I think it was 0800 - 1200), but I had to make a run to Lowe's for material for the tile installer, so I was not home yet when Woods arrived, but the tiler was.  He did the whole repair and was gone by the time I got back, and left an invoice. 

We've been doing a very drawn-out complicated remodel, so I was sooo happy that he took the initiative to just do the repair quickly and efficiently.  I called and apologized for not being there myself when they arrived, but they were very nice about it.  He picked out a replacement shower head for me, as requested, which is wonderful, and the price was as expected.  What a relief to have easily gotten that bathroom up and running before guests started arriving a few days later!

Overall it was a very good experience, I was very happy with the job and once again Brian's professionalism.

Brian Woods is who we dealt with. He did what he said he would do at a great value. He was not the lowest price, but the best value for our project. He could have been a bit cleaner. He had to come back and fix a few things. He did not attach things to the walls with the gas line. He could have been tidier and returned things back to how they were. He needs a bit more attention to detail. He was punctual.

They did a very good job.

It was a simple job, but I was in a bit of a time crunch. He was licensed and even offered a fix by phone! I appreciated his offer to save me money, but I decided it was it worth paying to have him come out. He made the fix quickly and impressed me quite a bit! I would certainly use him again for future plumbing work.
