RCI Solar Electrical

Rob at RCI Solar gave me a bid to install solar panels on the roof of my house. I signed a contract in April. After 3-4 weeks I finally got a drawing, which I approved, and was told that the permits were submitted in May. I followed-up multiple times over the next couple of months to check on status and was told that they were waiting for approval from the city and Lodi Electric. After 3+ months I finally called the main office and talked to the owner who told me that the permits were never submitted and that they reneged on the quote and did not want to go through with the project, without explanation... but never contacted me to let me know. So, their sales rep spent 2-3 months lying to me and now after waiting all summer for them to install solar, I have got to start all over again with another vendor. Thanks for [literally] nothing and for wasting my time.

RCI was prompt and professional. They did not over sell the product for financial gains . The install was clean and fast with no trash left behind . Customer service is quick to respond and resolve was immediate. The system that was put together was the perfect size for our needs and performed just as promised.

They are prompt, they let us know when they are coming out, tidy, they clean up after themselves, respectful, they educate us on how the system will work. Definitely low key when they came to the selling part. The program was explained to us and showed us options as to our financing, very knowledgeable, left us with a proposal without any pressure and they didn't over sell us.

Rob along with all of the staff at RCI were awesome to work with. They not only beat every competitors bid but offered me several options and were straightforward with me about the differences between setups. The thing I appreciated most was that they did not try to oversell me product or a bigger system than I needed. Their installation was beautifully done and they took care of all the setup paperwork, permitting and inspections with the utility company. They are also very good communicators and immediately responded to me when I called or texted with a question. In short, I cannot give them a high enough rating. I will forever use them and will recommend their company to anyone. I got the 7.6 KWH system with LG 330 watt panels and a Fronius Inverter and couldn’t be happier. My electricity meter actually has a negative number on it and that number keeps going up (well, down technically)... slowly but surely. $$$$

Everything went smooth from the sale to the installation and service. Even the installation guys had a great attitude and made the process comfortable. Rob is a very good customer advocate. He is up front and honest and he is quick to go out of his way to help make things easy on the customer side. This is the third time I ha e used this company. After the first time which went well, I shopped for a better price the second time and chose another company. I had to fire that big brand name company and RCI came and took care of my second project quickly and effectively. I will use RCI for all my solar projects going forward.

Fantastic experience. Everyone is transparent and easy to work with. One call they answer and get the job done. My turnaround time from signing papers on (a Sunday) to PTO was 18-21 days..thanks RCI family!!
