Another well regarded Angie's List roofer, who was unable to do my little job, gave me the referral. Mr. Diaz showed up on time for estimate, having come from another job. He took the time both to listen to me and to thoroughly inspect what he'd be dealing with. Very knowledgeable of his materials and methods, Mr. Diaz pointed out that what had been installed by others on my roof was sub-standard and that an incorrect roof drain had been used. Another contractor quoted about $1400 to correct these things and add a coating, for $1700, I got an entire additional layer of roof instead! Mr. Diaz returned the next day with a contract, miraculously transformed in his Sunday best. I signed the contract on the spot. On the workday, he showed up when he said he would and didn't leave even the tiniest bit of refuse behind.
