This is Rhett Higgins second time to our house for this type of tricky electrical work.
His technical competence, attention to detail and cleanliness of the finished installation is outstanding.

I had previously had them install new electrical outlets, attic fan, new recessed lighting and ceiling fans so when it came time to replacing some old recessed lighting I knew who to call. They are not the cheapest but when it comes to electrical work I don't want to go with the lowest bidder. Rhett and Jason show up on time, do as little damage as possible, and clean up real good. They are my electrical go to guys and worth every penny. I have recommended them to a friend and he agreed that they are top notch.

A tad pricey, Higgins are pros. Show up on time and know what they are doing. I would use them for any cable and sound system install work. Simply excellent.

We got them from Angie's List. Our overall experience with them was fine. They explained what they were going to do. They helped me figure out a lot of stuff I didn't know; I didn't know a lot of stuff was being charged to the house. The power outlets in two of the garages were being charged to me. So if they would add a refrigerator in there, I would have been paying for that. They helped me figure that out and we rewired so that they would have to pay for whatever they were using in the garage and not me. That probably saved me a lot of money overall in the long run.

Mr.Higgins responded on time as he promised and fixed our electrical problem within a good price range. We were very pleased with his proffesionilism, good work and price. If another electrical problem arises in the future, we definetely give him a call again.

He was prompt and knowledgeable. He did the repairs and cleaned up afterwards. I would use this service again.

I spoke with Rhett and he came right away to check the work needed; that same day he sent the quote.
Since my working hours arehectic , he was nice enough to work around it. I called him one night and asked him if he could do the job the next day and after consulting with his help he agreed to come early the next day.
Rhett, Jason and another gentleman were punctual and started to work right away until the job was done.
I was very satisfied with their work and if I need some electrical work again I will not hesitate to call them

Since I was not able to be home my parents were and they were very impressed by his puntuality, his professionalism, and how accomadating he was to them. While he was there my dad had him fix the back porch light and was super happy that he did that. we had not had a back porch light for about 15 years.
My dad is a hard person to really handle when it comes down to it, and he really loves to complain, however he has had no complaints after. All it was is praises. Which is nice since he's still talking about them 2 days later.
NO ONE CAN MAKE MY DAD HAPPY, so I would highly recommend this company.

I left a message and received an immediately return call. Mr. Higgigs answered all of my questions and provided a verbal quote. He then said he would email the quote to me which was sent almost immediately. I explained I had a small attic and he said he would have his son and a smaller employee do the work. It was scheduled for 8:00a.m. the following morning and both of the electricians came slightly early. They were courteous, professional, efficient and cleaned up perfectly. This was a very smooth experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. There was nothing to improve upon - they were great!

Rhett and his team (his son and one other gentleman)--as well as his wife Janet--are the consummate family business. They are professional, friendly, honest, responsive, affordable...I cannot say enough about how great they were, and how fortuitous it was that we found them.
I called Higgins on Monday morning and spoke with Janet. I told her a little bit about what we needed, and she said she would call Rhett and let him know. He called me within the hour and came within another hour to look at the job. We are in the middle of a kitchen renovation and the walls were being finished, and were almost done, when it became apparent we couldn't go on without fixing the forty-yr-old and quot;home-madeand quot; wiring job the previous owner had done in the house. Our general contractor had brought someone in who said we needed to replace the entire panel with something much larger and more expensive. Since I didn't feel comfortable with that quote, I began searching diligently on Angie's List.
I found Rhett and his son Jason, and not only did they do the appropriate work needed, they did it in record time and came in well below what the other guy quoted me--oh, and it's all and quot;to codeand quot;. The responsiveness, the immediate understanding of what we needed, the honesty, friendliness...all of this is why I would not only HIGHLY recommend Higgins to anyone needing electrical work--and they are NOT just and quot;handymenand quot;, they TRULY know what they are doing--but will use them for all my electrical needs in the future. This is exactly what Angie's List is for, and finally I am glad to be a part of it.

I had a great experience with this company. I called and they were very responsive. We made an appointment and they were punctual. They charged me the same amount that they had quoted, except for a minor cost adjustment due to the cost of the part they needed. They did call me though and notify me of the price change. Also, they did the work quickly and professionally without trying to "sell" me on additional work. Everything seems to be working great so far. It's been about two weeks since they did the work and we haven't experienced any problems so far. Overall, I would highly recommend this company.

Went perfectly. Fortuitously Mr. Higgins was able to come out to house within about 15 minutes of my initial phone call to him. Job was completed in about 45 minutes. Very knowledgeable and very professional as well as friendly. Will definitely use him in the future for any electrical work.

Rhett ad his son came out very quickly to do the work and did great work. We handled everything by phone and I left him a key to do the work on 3 different occasions. We never met in person but he seemed to understand everything I wanted to do and did everything exactly the way I wanted. I think the pricing was reasonable as well. From our conversations safety was stressed more so than other guys. Would hire again and in fact will ask him to do my recessed lighting

They were very good. They did quality work. They were quick and punctual. They came when they said they were going to come. They were very professional. If there is a need, I would definitely use them again in the future too.

Our wiring is old and when circuits stopped working on two occasions over the holidays, I called Higgens and they cam right out. The problem was fixed. The charges were fair. I will definitely use them again.

Rhett Higgins arrived within an hour of my call. He identified the source of the problem (an open at a wire nut in one of the outlet boxes) and had the circuit fixed in a matter of minutes. He charged me his minimum fee, which he told me when I originally called. I couldn't possibly ask for a better experience in any regard and will definitely call again for any future work needed.

My experience was great, the quote was straight forward and they showed up on time. The turn around time between the quote and doing the work was very short. They did a thorough job and seemed to work very hard.

Owner and his helper arrived on time. They tested the electrical system and found that the switch was defective so they replaced it. It took about 15 to 20 minutes.
