Guzman`s Home Away From Home Daycare

My daughter (now 16 months, started at 3 months) currently goes to Guzman’s Home Away From Home Daycare, and I’ll just say up front: I couldn’t have asked for a better daycare provider. As a parent, what’s most important to me is that my child is loved, safe, and happy – with Janneth Guzman, she has this every single day. Janneth is dependable, flexible (she learned how to use cloth diapers for me), and committed to best practices in her profession. She creates a healthy space for kids to grow and learn through play. And, as a bonus, Janneth uses Brightwheel, so I get to see photos of my daughter and know the activities she is doing all throughout the day. I am profoundly grateful for the care that Janneth provides to my daughter. If you are looking for someone to take care of your child, I highly recommend Janneth Guzman.

Janneth Guzman is a truly special daycare provider. She is smart, organized, fun, and adores the children. Unlike many people who provide daycare out of their homes, Janneth is a serious business owner and her attention to detail, both in terms of the care she provides the children and her adherence to regulations and safety measures, is excellent. Most importantly, of course, she is warm and loving, and all the children adore her. She provides an excellent blend of learning activities and just plain fun for the preschoolers. She takes the kids on frequent trips to parks, the library, the fire station, museums, and many other fun excursions. She is constantly seeking out more information about both educational and fun activities to engage the children. She provides plenty of home-cooked meals, and organizes special parties for birthdays, holidays, and other events. She is actively engaged with the elementary school down the street and has often arranged participation by the preschoolers in events there (e.g. the Halloween parade). One of the things I most value about Janneth's care is that she helps the children play together in a mixed-age setting, from young babies to school-age. This is a fantastic environment for children as they learn new skills from older children, and learn patience and responsibility from playing with younger children. She gives daily reports on your child's behavior and is always willing to talk about any concerns and issues with your child. She works very closely with the parents on developmental milestones such as potty training or getting through difficult stages. She keeps parents updated with photos and texts throughout the day, which is particularly appreciated if your child has difficulty separating. All in all, a wonderful experience and I would without hesitation recommend Janneth to anyone seeking daycare.

Its a private in home daycare center. She is licensed She does a really good blend of playing wih the children. She keep them engaged in doing something active . She is really good at everything.
