FOLEY CONSTRUCTION

We are completely delighted with the quality of Foley Construction's work. The project went smoothly and two years later, we remain very pleased.
Workers were on the job, on time, every day that work was scheduled. Work areas were swept clean and made as tidy as possible at the end of the work day, making the process quite bearable. Workers were not only skilled and hardworking, but good natured.
Owner Scott Foley is reliable, responsive and communicative -- a real pleasure to work with.

They came, didn't mess around, were efficient, and were very clean; they cleaned up after themselves completely. The patio looks very nice! It was a smooth operation - I wish everyone worked like that.

The experience was entirely positive. While they worked, we talked about what was being done. Right from the start we had requested that any underlying house damage that was revealed during the work should be repaired - we didn't want anything hidden. While we understood that might mean additional work and expense, we preferred that approach. When rotted porch ends were removed, stud damage was revealed. Without hesitation, it was promptly and thoroughly repaired. (These repairs did not increase the total job cost.)
But true character is revealed when no one is looking. They had thoroughly masked off the work area with ground tarps - and had covered up a sprinkler head. In stepping back at one point they had tripped over the head and it broke off. We would never have known - and just thought it was a gardener mishap. They informed us - so we would turn off the water system - and the next day made the necessary repair. Kudos. We plan to use Foley in the future.
On other issues - The professionals were neat, covered up adjacent areas, and cleaned up. Foley was recommended to us by a designer, and we read glowing reports on Angie's list. All true.

They are very good. I would recommend their integrity and their good craftsmanship. They are great people. If I could afford them, I will definitely use them again because their prices have gone up, since the last time I used them.

They are a great crew of guys who have been with Scott for a long time. They are very nice and conscientious. They are very well mannered. They only problem is the scheduling. They are not good at coming out as scheduled. They are less organized in that way. That is their weakness. They are really great at what they do.
