The vet was great. He was very thorough and if he had a different front desk staff, a cleaner location, and fewer clients at once, I would likely go here again. Unfortunately, the appointment took over 3 hours, much of which was spent waiting to be helped.
My dog has been on the Banfield Wellness plan for a couple of years now, and I have moved twice. I have never had any problems in the past with changing hospitals, but unfortunately, when I arrived, they spent 20 minutes correcting the system where they had put in the wrong information. Then, they charged me for multiple services that should have been covered by the plan. When I asked about this, I was told that the plan did not cover the items at this time. When I arrived home, I had received a postcard stating that my dog was due again for the blood work, etc. that was completed at the vet and I was charged for. This left me with over $150 in charges for services that should have been covered and no way to recover the funds.
Also, based on previous reviews, I had expected the place to be very clean, and I was absolutely disappointed. The pet hospital was actually dirtier than any other Banfield that I had ever been to.
Additionally, I was charged for medicine for my dog that the hospital was out of. I informed the staff that I had to go out of town the next morning and they assured me that they would try to find the medication first thing in the morning and call me. The next day I did not receive a call until 2pm to tell me that they had located the medicine. When I was back in town (one week later), I went into the hospital to pick up my dog's medicine and it took them 15 minutes to find the prescription. Then, they attempted to charge me $40 for the medicine again. I informed them that I had already paid for the medicine on my initial visit, and it took them another 15 minutes to correct the issue in the computer and get the medicine for me.
Overall, this has been extremely frustrating, and I will definitely be finding a different Banfield for my dog in the future.

Banfield Pet Hospital - Fullerton has a immaculate office. They take good care of your pets. My cat had cancer and they treated her and so far the cancer has not returned. The doctors are great with the care they give.

I have had a negative experience with them. Their prices are exorbitant to the point I cannot afford to go there; it seems like I was not being charged appropriately. I could not negotiate on the price with them. They did however give me an immediate appointment. They were very punctual; I walked in and they had the vet there within minutes.

Banfield Pet Hospital does excellent work, but they're pricey and I guess you get what you pay for. You probably can eat off the floor because they are so clean at Banfield. I do have to bring my cat back in and I probably would be bringing it to them because I want it to go to the best place even though I'm going to have to pay top dollar. It's part of PetSmart or Petco and it's off to the side and when you walk through the doors you go right to the side and there is the veterinarian area. You buy the products there at the pet store so I'm sure that's the reason why they have Banfield there because they are making money. It's extremely pricey and something that I can have done for my cats for a total of $150 for shots they would charge me $250, but they do take of them and they're gentle. I have watched them and they even offered me to go in the back where they work to see the facility because I had to put a cat down and I didn't want to go in there because I was too upset. You don't have to wait long there and when you have your appointment you have your appointment. A five minute wait is pretty short for veterinarians and the place is extremely clean. They give a thorough examination and also have a part in Banfield where they work with cats that need to find homes that are probably abandoned. They are tamed and on Saturday's or Sundays people can come in and adopt, so they even open that area up for the cats in need which is an organization.
