ATS Window Cleaning

2 young men showed up on time and did an excellent job.  Cleaned all my windows, screens and tracks.  I also asked if they could get some of the film off of my shower door.  They work very hard and made the whole house look better.  I will definitely use them in the future and will have them come out regularly.

Horrible experience.   Horrible.  Living Social deal for 25 windows for $75 with a company called The Window Guy but answers the phone ATS Window Cleaning.  The fine print on my Voucher says extra fee applies to bay windows, french DOORS, and sun rooms.  So here's my story:  Five minutes before they are to arrive on a Saturday, I get a call saying their truck broke down on the freeway and they aren't going to be able to make it.  Truck has to be towed.  I realize this can happen to anyone and I re-book for the following Saturday at Noon (yesterday).  At 10:45 am on the newly re-booked Saturday, I receive a call asking if they can come at 11:15 or 11:30 am. instead of Noon.  I changed my plans and agreed to change the time to 11:30 am.  I also agreed to allow them to walk around the property to count windows until I arrive.  When I arrive, I am informed that I only have 17 or 18 windows (not 25) but they refuse to do the one and only french window which is medium sized.  Guy #1 tells me he already called his boss to ask about it, and no, they will not do that one window even though I only have 17 or 18 windows.  He proceeds to tell me I should have read the fine print on my voucher.  I'm upset.   At that time, I did not re-read the small print on my voucher like I should have.  Darn it!  I did not reprint it and re-read it until later that day.  It does NOT say French WINDOWS are excluded or extra, it says French DOORS are extra.  Completely different things.  Anway, it gets worse.  I had already removed all window screens except for two. . . the screen on the sliding door and the screen on the kitchen window.  What do they do?  Wash the windows with the SCREENS STILL ON.  The screens are sopping wet!!  I'm upset again and tell them I have never seen a company not remove the screens.  Guy #1 uses the "f" word and storms out.  Guy #2 apologizes but they end up walking out to their truck and leaving.   I'm standing inside the house with sopping wet screens, a spotted sliding glass door, a huge spot on my kitchen window, and a super large puddle of water on my kitchen floor.  I have NEVER had an altercation or a problem with a window cleaning company. . .not ever.  I did talk to an ATS "man in charge" who promptly told me I should have read the fine print and that Living Social will not help me.  He said he would drive by the property to observe my windows but I have not heard back from him.  My fine print does not exclude french windows and we'll see how Living Social handles this as I have reported all of this to them.

In dealing with them over the phone, I contacted them before the coupon expired (I was redeeming a Living Social deal).  I spoke with Mindy, and she was very nice in the office. I next spoke with Ron, who had to reschedule on the morning of, he was sick and I understood, so we rescheduled. At the rescheduled appointment time, the employee, Bobby, had come 1 hour and 45 minutes late due to a set back. He was sweet and seemed to do a thorough job. But, once the boss showed up, things began to shift a bit for the worse. Next thing I know, I see some young kids cleaning and using razors on my front windows, which they appear to have chipped. Overall, I am very disappointed with the service. They are not a professional organization  He did not cover any of the beds, floors, or furniture when cleaning the interior windows. The boss called the employee when the employee was about to fix the poor job that the younger worker had done on the exterior windows. The employee had just walked off the job and didn't return. They left some equipment and never showed back up. Ron, the owner, has never returned my calls. I would strongly not recommend them to anyone.

The contractor did contact me after an email and said he?d be out this morning to make it right. When shown the damage done to the windows he put his hands up and said he fulfilled his contract. And he said twice that we could ?move on with our miserable lives." Because he was so loud he actually woke my son up, who came out to stand on the walkway with me. The contractor got out of his truck and asked if my son had something to say to him. My son said no, but he didn't think this was a good way to run a business. Then the contractor repeated for the second time that we could get on with our miserable lives, then got back into his truck and took off.

We were pleased. We would probably call them again.

I purchased a groupon for $90 and when the guy came out he told me because I had a two story home I would have to pay extra for it, which we agreed to. Whoever they sent to clean the windows did not clean them properly. After they left I noticed that there were about 3 streaks on the windows. The more I looked after that, I realized there were more streaks. I contacted them to have them come back out and after speaking with a lady in regards to them coming again, they never showed up nor would they return any of my phone calls. They did not have the courtesy to follow up or call me back. The streaks never got fixed.

Everything turned out fine. They had a larger crew than expected so they got the job done fast!

Also, we were having our bathroom remodeled. While the workers were out there working one of the guys bumped into one of the slabs of marble. I then contacted Ron and told him that one of the guys broke the marble. Because they were in the middle of the job, I told him that I wanted the job to get finished. He told me if there was going to be a problem then he would pull the guys out. At that point they had already received half of the pay for the project so I really wanted them to finish it. Another problem was that Ron was supposed to do the light & the garage outside which we agreed on, and the workers told me that he didn’t tell them to do that. They then told me that they would come back to fix it. I then handed them the rest of the money thinking they would come back. Needless to say they didn't show up. I have been calling and calling and they have been ignoring me. Not only did we have to pay for the slab that they broke but we still have dirty windows and the rest of the work never got completed. We weren’t happy with them at all and it was a terrible experience.

the work went great it was quick and completed beautifully.

My main problem was that this guy dripped black water on my carpet and on the floors.  He also left a black shoe print and he usually took his shoes off but since I had mine on that he figured it was ok.  HELLO!!  He did wipe the spots off of the carpet but still can see them.  He said they use Dawn soap so it would not do any harm.  Also on a couple of windows you could see stuff that was on the outside of the glass.  I pointed it out to him and first he said he couldn't get it off because I had tinted windows which I don't.  I told him it was on the outside and he said when a coupon is used, they don't do detailed window washing.  I will never use them again.

I emailed the company about my experience but have never heard one word back.  I thought I would at least get an "I'm sorry!"  I was not looking for a refund or do over either.

They were very good and did a very good job. The price and quality were great. They were conscientious and took extra care working around certain areas inside the house. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I called ATS Window Cleaning to get a free estimate. Ron came out the very same day as my first call. Ron came out to give me an estimate for cleaning my windows and screens. He explained the procedure and asked if we could schedule an appointment. I explained to him that I would like to wait until after the rainy season. He offered a "rain check" for 30 days and said if it rains and my windows need to be touched up he would come back for free. I scheduled the appointment for three days later. He arrived on time and got right to work. He brought all his own supplies and only needed a hose for the screens. I was impressed that he removed his shoes every time he came into the house. Ron also said he might have missed a spot or a window may have a streak. He explained that in different lights and with different sun exposure a streak or spot may appear that he did not see. He said just to give him a call if I want him to come back and fix it. I thought that was a great way to do business. His work was great, my windows and blinds look fantastic!!!
