One of the most professional, punctual, and hard working companies I have worked with. In this industry that is hard to come by. I interview over 12 companies over a two year period. Most of them I asked to leave because they insulted me by thinking people can't do basic math. Doug Means was informative and very helpful even when as we delayed the purchase of the solar system. Doug was especially patient as my husbsnd worked out the break even payback point and justifiability of our purchase s 3.1 kw 12 panel solar system. Thumbs up to Doug.

After meeting with several high pressure sales people at other solar companies we gave up on solar because it wasn't going to save us any money. All of them wanted to sit down with you (in your house) to pressure you into buying a system on the spot and that just isn't how I work.

Fast forward a few months and we had Matthew from Applied Solar knock on our door. Our experience with Matthew was a breath of fresh air. There was no pressure to sign, he didn't force us to meet with him just to get a quote. He was more than happy to answer any questions that we had and didn't just give us a stock answer. If he didn't know, he would find out and get back to us.

The installation was pretty quick and only took a few days to complete. The entire project from signing the paperwork to being up and running took about 3 weeks. They did a great job and the install looks clean.

When it came down to pricing and financing options it was a no brainer. Their quote was lower than anything we had seen and would save us money on day one based on their analysis. In reality it actually saved us more money than they expected. We have now had the system for a little over 2 years and it has saved us over $700 each year in power bills.

I interviewed 6 different companies before choosing Applied for my Solar Installation. The company communicated extremely well throughout the process and guided me through permitting, HOA approval, SoCal Edison applications, etc. We were up and producing solar power in less than 60 days. Last electric bill before solar was $840 for 1 month, first bill after solar was $1.40! Would HIGHLY recommend Applied.
