A job quoted at $2,000.00 and 6 - 7 days was into three weeks and wasn't close to being done. George had asked for money every day. He brought a different helper everyday (obviously someone who had never done this kind of work before). It is a long story about everything that happened but, when I discussed with him displeasure with the quality and time frame, he went nuts like a teenager screaming at me and telling me everything was my fault. I had to hire a plumber to come out and fix a problem George created while starting work on the bathroom. I fired him with the job well less than half completed. I was afraid to to have him come back. His work was horrible as was his temper and reliability. He is not licensed so I really have no recourse.
Description of Work: Tore out old carpet and lining in kitchen and family room and was to install new tile. A bedroom and two bathrooms were also to be done.
