Pool and Spa Servicing, Lawn Irrigation
It started off great the lst year. He found a leak that was poorly repaired by the previous owner and removed the caulking with the intent to repair it properly. He never did. Then around March of 2008, he started not showing up, and always had excuses. After several messages, they finally came out at the end of July when the pool was full of algae and gross. A guy came by and put something in the pool, but the pool remained uncleaned. They were not returning my calls, and my out of town guests went to a hotel so they could use the pool there! Someone must have come out to get some supplies that had been sitting here for months, because they were suddenly gone. The sprinkler heads that have yet to be put on were still sitting in the yard. Whoever came must have done something, because the green in the pool was gone, but the pool was still not cleaned and the skimmer wasn't working. I have since gotten a hold of him, and he said he sent me a message back in July saying he was quitting for personal reasons. I told him I never received a message, and if he quit, why was someone still coming out, and why did he never return my calls to tell me? He said we didn't have to pay for August, but I told him I shouldn't have to pay for July either, and that he has been paid through August. Then he said he was coming through then, but I questioned why he would have come if he had quit! After arguing, I told him I assumed that he wasn't coming back to fix the pool, he said no, and hung up. I have since hired a new company to take care of the pool. The new company will have to use extra chemicals and possibly replace the filter (at an extra expense to us) due to neglect.
