The guy from MVI Appliance (the owner) took off a bracket when he took apart my dryer and couldn't find the screws when it came time to put it back on. So he TAPED the cover on with electrical tape and left the bracket under the motor which caused the clanking. I reported him to my home warranty company. After they told him they'd received a complaint, he called me to find out exactly why. I told him exactly what happened and he ADMITTED to taping the cover back on because he said the screws to the bracket were "missing" which means he lost them when he unscrewed the bracket. He offered to pay me back the $40 the vent cleaning serviceman charged me for diagnosing and fixing the problem that MVI Appliance caused. I've yet to see the money because he just called me today, but at least he admitted to his unethical mistake and offered to pay it back. Still, if he couldn't find the screws he could've either looked harder for them, or went out and bought new screws to screw on that bracket. Using electrical tape and leaving the bracket in the dryer was a HORRIBLE thing to do. My dryer is only 3 years old and shouldn't have had this issue. I do not recommend this company.
