I called and asked him to return to finish the job, leaving a voice message. I called and called. I wrote a letter. I contacted the BBB. They tried to get hold of him, but he didn't respond to them either. In the end, I was out the money and several nice plants. The BBB told me I could take him to court, but at that time I worked out of town and couldn't spare the time off that would have required. I would never ever recommend this man for installing or repairing drip.

Mr. Shubin fixed the valve in front and worked on the timer and said he would return to do the drip work in the back. I was going out of town before he would be back to do that. He said he might have some trouble setting up so much drip in the back for just one valve, which was all that was there, but he would work on it while I was gone. He told me the charge would be $935. I agreed to pay him before I left and said that if the drip didn't cover the area, I would discuss that with him when I got back. When I returned, one sprinkler station in front didn't work with the timer, and the drip in the back was not set on the timer. The drip was on constantly in some areas, making "pudding" out of those flower beds. It did not come on at all in other areas, which had dying plants by the time I got back. I telephoned Mr. Shubin about this at least four times, leaving messages for him. He never returned my calls.

"I am so sorry. I simply don't recall this. I wish I can go back and right the wrong but that's impossible. All I can do at this point is say I will do some work for you at this home for free to make up for it."
