The steering wheel momentarily locked when I made a turn, then the engine shut off after making another immediate turn. They did an in depth test drive and diagnostic on the steering wheel and engine but did not find a problem. Told me to bring it back immediately if it happens again. It hasn't. I did not need an appointment for this call, and the technician typed my exact words on the service sheet. They also did a courtesy inspection on the tires, brakes, battery, suspension, lamps, belts, hoses. The car is still under warranty, so I was not charged but felt their work was very thorough. The only criticism I have was that they didn't call when they were finished and I had to leave it there all day. Staff was very friendly and concerned.

I took my car into Lithia because my check engine light was on, I didn't have an appointment but left my car with them to diagnose the problem. After about 2 hours they called telling me what the problem was and that it was covered by the warranty so the cost would only be my deductible. Great News! They had the car fixed and ready to go by the end of the work day!

Gas access door would not open when "touch", so I was unable to fuel car. Problem occurred Feb 08 promptly took into Lithia since we could not add gas and had less the 50 before empty. Left vehicle with Lithia to correct problem, when return gas access door opened there was no charge. March 08 problem occurred again, Lithia said we needed replace locking actuator which we had to order when they received brought car into dealership. Made appt Lithia installed part, I did not check when picked up. Next day went to fill up auto and gas access door would not open. Immediately went to Lithia (I had less than 30 miles before empty) Brandon was the service rep who said that we were to blame about this problem and it was working when we picked up day before. He said we were bending a tab inside the access door which prevented the actuator from opening door. I explained I picked up the vehicle and did not touch the door, he disagreed with me and said that they needed to replace the access door which would cost approx $400.00. I asked why I was not told there was a chance of needing the replacement at time I replaced access door? They unactivated the actuator and I was able to open the door with a paper clip. The next day without an appt. my husband went in with me to discuss and fix this problem. Brandon once again said it was our fault we talked to the service manager, Kirby and he assured us that he would get with a mechanic and see what the issue was. Kirby never called to explain the problem. I contacted Nissan corporate to file a complaint along with contact Lithia GM for appt. Two days later we met with GM to discuss issues we explained our frustration about the service along with the overall service and disrespect that we received and being accused of being the reason for the problem. During the meeting with GM he went and talked to a mechanic and requesting keeping the auto overnight again (total of 3 days this time). He apologized for the overall service and treatment. When we picked up the auto the next day we were told they replaced another part, which no one ever told us about but this time "it worked'. It has been 6-weeks and we have had no other problem.
