JAIME'S FLOORING CENTER

I found defects in the original carpet we purchased upon delivery to the job site. Jaime's could not replace the defective carpet with the same kind so I had to go back and pick out a different one. Trying to keep it at the same price, Jaime's was offering other carpet that didn't appear to be of the same quality even though he insisted that it was. After telling him just to remove the padding they had already installed, he then informed me that he would give me an exclusive warranty on the carpet and would take care of it if we weren't satisfied with it. After it was installed, the weave was so thin, that you could see the padding underneath the brand new carpeting. Jaime came out a few times to look at the product after many complaints and related there was not anything wrong with the carpeting. He related if I ever had any problems with it within the next 5 years, he would take care of it. A little over a year later, the carpeting in one of the units was coming apart at the seams. They did come out and fix that after having to remind him of all of the issues we had in the past and his verbal agreement. But, the next time I asked them to come out and fix another unit's carpeting, it was another fight. Jaime failed to return my calls, but finally had one of his employees contact me. After a few weeks, this employee related that he had an installer go look at the issues I had brought to their attention and related that all of the severe wear areas at the seams were due to dog traffic and was not due to the quality of the carpet. I asked him why I could not talk to Jaime himself so I could remind Jaime of his agreement with me at the original unsatisfactory complaint I had, and he related that Jaime only deals with commercial clients. Funny, I thought that apartments were considered commercial property, and Jaime sure didn't have any reservations selling me carpet when I first purchased it. After requesting to have him have Jaime call me, surprise, I still have not received a call back. If you decide to use Jaime's, please be careful and be sure to get everything in writing and do your research on the product they are trying to sell you.

We remodeled our house in 2003 and then refurbished it as a rental in 2008 and we moved to a different house.  Each time we were very satisfied with the merchandise as well as the service.  There was a minor problem with the molding over the linoleum and Jaime came out and looked at it and then sent workmen out to repair it.  They really did take care of our concerns and we were very happy with the price and wearing qualities.  Even though the carpet and linoleum were middle grade, they wore very well in a farm environment.  We will definitely go to Jaime's again.

After visiting Jaime's and speaking to Chis we decided to go with that company. Chris came to our home and took measurements. The price quoted was very reasonable. The tiles we wanted were available and could be purchased. A date was set and the crew showed up as indicated. Kenny and 2 other men came and started setting up the machinery on our covered patio as it was raining at the time. It took 3 days (and part of a 4th) to complete the projects. A couple of tiles were high in a corner and Kenny pulled them out and replaced them. Never complained, just wanted the project to look right. All workman were courteous and friendly and tried keeping clean-up to a minimum.

WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE THAT THEY PROVIDED US. WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE FLOOR SINCE IT WAS INSTALLED. THE WORKERS WERE VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY THE FLOOR TURNED OUT WHEN IT WAS DONE. THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO GET ANY MORE WOOD OR ANYTHING, THEY HAD WHAT THEY ALL NEEDED RIGHT THERE.
