From 9/12/14 through 10/814 (Yeah, FOUR weeks...keep reading) Francis painted and replaced nine (9) vandalized parts on a 2000 Honda Civic, yet identified the left front headlamp damage and did NOT replace it until I noticed it upon my first return home at which time I noticed that the two used replacement side-view mirrors had severely mottled silvering behind the mirrors' glass. The Francis adjuster had CONTINUOUS difficulty replacing the replacement mirrors with their suppliers. First, I did not understand why they had to send the second replacement set back, yet when they received the third replacement set, the driver's side mirror had two thumb-sized scratches, one each in the upper left and upper right corners. This was not visible when we picked up the Honda Civic on our FOURTH VISIT to Francis Collision, but when we got home, the two mirror glass scratches became obvious in a different light. Note that the original two side-view mirrors were factory-new in appearance and function so we wanted a similar quality in the replacement. Note that the Francis adjuster claimed that the second replacement set would be BRAND NEW, and they sure as h*** WERE NOT !!! How sad that excellent painting and replacement of many parts was spoiled by repetitive shoddy work on two simple mirrors. Either the suppliers cannot guarantee new OR QUALITY USED replacement parts and lie about it, and the body shops participate in that lie, or they are working so fast as to not visually check a simple safety part - a side view mirror - that I as the driver's husband would want to be in a high-quality, new condition. If mirror mottling and/or scratches cause visual perception distortion, for example, when driving at night, then an accident could occur, and Francis Collision may be responsible as well as GEICO for not OBTAINING a quality part or parts. When on the phone I asked the full-time GEICO rep at Francis Collision, and quot;Does Francis usually claim to be using new replacement parts and then actually replace with used parts, and quot; and he replied, and quot;I will not comment on that activity.and quot; This avoidance of answering the question was in actual verbal meaning was an AFFIRMATIVE answer to the question and created a suspicion on my part that the misrepresentation to the customer very well could have been at least an occasional or possibly an regular activity. It is very easy to infer that the possibility of GEICO-cost-cutting has resulted in GEICO's collusion with a body shop to provide an inferior and potentially-risky safety part. I will not be using Francis Collision in the future and will be researching the GEICO replacement-practices’ parts history related to non-OEM parts. I am not optimistic.

"We offer a life time warranty on our repairs at Francis Collision Centre due to confidence in our workmanship and wanting to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. Not familiar with too many industries or services offering a life time warranty. Insurance companies dictate what type of parts they will pay for (new, used, aftermarket) and it is customary for insurance companies to choose used or aftermarket parts for a 2001 (13 year old car) as in this case. If the customer is still dissatisfied they can exercise their life time warranty and we will be prompt to resolve the issue."

They were recommended by my insurance provider. Repairs were fast. The only small issue I had was they forgot to replace the light in my trunk. I sold my car soon afterward, so I couldn't take back, but I could have.
Response from Francis Collision Centre
"We're sorry we missed the light in your trunk. If you still had your car we would gladly make arrangements to replace the light for you. We hope we'll have another opportunity to make that up to you in the future. Thank you for your business."

I had damage to the side of my older luxury sedan from another guy opening his door when I passed. I also had a fender ding from earlier and some minor body work. His insurance company sent me to Francis Collision, and I was really impressed with how well they handled my car. We are definitely on a budget and probably wouldn't have tried Francis Collision because it looks like an expensive, high-end shop. Our experience confirms that they are high-quality, but the prices are on point for the quality they provide.
Prompt, courteous and knowledgeable inspection was handled by an on-site insurance company adjuster. The estimate was very accurate. The body shop scheduled my repair at my convenience, which meant we waited until the mirror assembly could be secured before taking the car in. Instead of taking over a month to get new parts from England, they found the part used. If I hadn't known that it was used, I'd have never known. It looked just like new.
We were offered a rental, but declined because we had another vehicle. The work was done carefully and the end product was perfect. They worked with an outside specialist for the fender ding and didn't mark up his charges. He was able to remove the ding from an area not easily accessed from inside the fender.
This place is worth the price. They aren't the cheapest, but they do first rate work, the people are considerate, attentive, and very skilled. Our car was done when they said it would be done. The price for the work in excess of what the insurance covered was really reasonable. The manager is really hands on with the customers.

It was a good experience. They did a good job. Their pricing was very fair. They were very friendly people and they were very well organized. They were very efficient and I experienced one-day service. I brought it that morning and the two ladies at the front desk were very friendly and informative. They told me exactly what they were going to do and they did it. They were very competent and they did good work on the car.
