They started two weeks ago and installed the posts. When they started to install the pickets, I realized that the pickets were the wrong size. They packed up and went to another job installing wrought iron. I didn't see them again for two weeks. So the fencing btwn my neighbor and myself was wide open for that two weeks. I had to keep my Dog on a leash to take her out to do her business .

Very punctual. Great estimator. Wood shrank quite a bit in just 3 days. Overall looks good. They did break 2 sprinkler lines and if I hadn't questioned it they weren't going to mention it.

FenceWorks isn't cheap, but they do a solid job.

They did a beautiful job. We love the fence.

A representative of the company came and did all the measuring. she gave my neighbor and I an itemized report . After discussing the report with my neighbor, we set up an appointment.
They came at 7:00 AM and tore down the fence and returned the next day and put up the new fence. They were efficient, fast workers and did a great job. They were polite and kept us informed of all phases of the building of the fence. I would highly recommend them.

FenceWorks did an ok, but not great job. They messed up on the estimate (left out a portion of the fence), failed to warn us ahead of time that there were sprinklers in the way, and used some materials that were older and a slightly more faded color than the rest. The concrete is not level with the ground where they placed the posts. We had to repeatedly call them to get things done. Now that we have payed the balance on our bill, they still have not fixed a couple of things that they promised. Overall very disappointing for the amount of money we paid for this big job.

We contacted Fenceworks, Inc., Fresno, CA to obtain an estimate to replace fencing along the back of the property. In the process our neighbors joined in the project adding by including fencing on their property. The Fenceworks Estimator arrived on the agreed date and time. The Estimator provided each party to the project a written estimate. The Estimator notified each party that it would take approximately two weeks before construction would begin due the time of year workload customary during the summer months. Each party was notify by the Estimator with a specific date and time the construction the fencing would begin. Since this was to be a two day project, a crew arrived on the day and time promised to dig and install fence post for both properties. This work was completed in a timely way with the crew cleaning both properties of excess and unused materials. The next morning, the fence construction crew arrived early morning with all the materials necessary to complete the job. They finish constructing the fences on both properties before noon.
Owing to the experience both homeowners had with Fenceworks, Inc. we would strongly urge property owners who are considering new or replacing fencing to contact Fenceworks, Inc. And, besure you look at the company's website.
Overall we would rate Fenceworks, Inc. excellent in all aspects of our relationship with them.

Nice workmanship, hard workers. Very professional and courteous. Cleanup was immaculate. Happy with results and new fence enhances curb appeal.

Very punctual, price was good, work was done very quickly. Called me up a month later to check up and find out how we liked the fence and to remind me of the one year warranty. Great customer service, unlike other companies I looked into. Very happy with our decision.

They showed us everything they had available. They came several times. They were very efficient and clean. They took down the old fence and hauled it away. They were very good. We were happy with them. They were reasonable and honest. They cleaned up their mess. They were friendly and very nice to deal with. They were in line with everyone else on price.

On the first day, workers came in, removed old fence in sections and
hauled off. On the second day, the job was completed, as promised. A
kick board was done on all the fencing (except the gate fence), made it
look complete.
Quality of wood was excellent, no holes and the nails were galvanized, so when fence is wet, nails don't bleed.
The company totaled the cost for each neighbor's section and allowed them to pay in their own payment form.

It was the first time we had used them. It went very well. They were very quick and the fence has held up very well.

The estimator was timely. The crew was timely the first day. We didn't see the crew again for 10 days and had to call the company to find out when they would return. It was another 8 days before they came back the 3rd time and another 4 days before returning to finally complete the fece the 4th trip. Upon inspection of the fence done the first day we saw that many of the areas were no where near the ground. Although the company did cover the cost of putting in a kick board at the bottom of the dividing propertly line fence, we will still have to fix large gaps under the gates and under the cross fencing along the grass. Communication is ablosultely terrible with this company. If we wanted any information we had to call time and time again. The manager never returned any of our calls. Even when we spoke to him and asked him to check on an issue and call us back or call if you weren't going to show up, no one called. It took 24 days to complete a fence that should have taken no more than 4 days.

Update 9-30-12: My biggest complaint two months after installation is that as the boards have dried out, the spaces between boards are twice as wide as the side of my fence that is 16 years old! The wood that they used was far too green and did not have appropriate drying time before being installed.

UPDATE: 8/2/12 - The crew was sent back to my house to make all the corrections that I requested. The final product is much improved!! I appreciate their willingness to make things right.

UPDATE: I am so impressed...the CEO and Project Manager came out to see the work that I had reported as unacceptable. They both agreed, and will have a crew here in two days to correct the work. Customer service is alive and well!! I will update again after the work is corrected.

Arrived as scheduled, removed old fence and gates. Done in less than 3 hours. Arrived the following day to install new fence and gates. Materials were cut on site, therefore I was expecting a custom, accurate project. Finished in less than 4 hours. Unfortunately, I was not home when they finished. I was not able to review the completed work with the two individuals who did the work. The workmanship is shoddy, the aesthetics are completely lacking, and I am convinced that the individuals had never before built a fence or gates. I am appalled that a licensed fence contractor would throw up a sloppy fence like the one I have in my yard and consider it a completed project. I have lots of pictures....please see what you will get if you use this company. I requested that the unacceptable work be corrected but I have yet to get a commitment or date for corrections. Appallingly incompetent: Gates are crooked, boards were screwed in too tightly and split, hinges and latches on gates are crooked, unaligned, and screws not flush. Boards used in gates are all cut crooked and at different widths. The gates were made from a different wood than the frames and they do not match. Trim around gates are not flush. Top of gate frames are not capped and gaping holes left at top of frame. UNACCEPTABLE. AVOID THIS CONTRACTOR!!

First day removed old fence and set posts, second day put up fencing. Only complaint they did not fill in old post holes after drilling new ones.

Very friendly and knowledgeable in their trade. I was very happy with their professionalism and workmanship.

The overal job was performed very good (B+/A-). We solicited a few bids for the job. Fenceworks' quote for the fence itself was comparable to the other fencing contractors, but they were the only firm that was not reluctant to include the demolition of the old fence in their scope of work. They coordinated construction of the fence with the demo company so that the whole job (incld. demo) was completed in only three days. (We were also very satisfied with the demo company--Haro Construction, a general contractor.) The workmanship of the fence was very good, and the materials used seem to be satisfactory.

My first contact was with the office personnel. I wasn't entirely impressed at first. She wasn't very friendly and mentioned something about coming in on a Saturday to return phone calls. Seemed like it was a hassle for her to schedule an appointment for an estimate. However, when the gal (different gal) came out to give me the estimate she was prompt and very friendly. Gave me a very detailed estimate and clearly broke it down to what each section would cost so I could decide how much or how little I wanted done. Very professional. Showed me the warranty info. The price was very reasonable. The next day I signed the contract for the sections I had decided upon and faxed it in. When the office called to say they received it and to schedule an appointment, once again, I found the gal on the phone not particularly friendly. She mentioned that there was a mistake (in my favor) in the cost of the gate section that the estimater had written on the contract. I mentioned that I signed the contract so they needed to honor the price I signed for. She agreed but it was obvious she was annoyed. The estimate was actually accurate and there was no mistake. Day of service: Everything went great! Said they would start at 7:00 am. They were prompt, even about a half hour early! Made sure they knew exactly what was to be done. Took down the old fence quickly, Set the posts and cleaned up nicely. very friendly. Told me the second crew would be here in about two hours to install the actual fence. It was more like 5 hours later but I realized the cement for the posts did have to set up. Second crew came in did their work and also cleaned up nicely. They were also very friendly. Only problem was when they were done they just left without saying they were finished or asking me to inspect to make sure I was satisfied. I was, but it would have been nice to know they were leaving. The fence looks great. Very sturdy. Appears to be good workmanship. Nicer than the fence that was originally there. Sent me the bill a couple days later. Overall I was very pleased with the cost and quality of my new fence. I would recommend this company to others. Don't let the unfriendliness of the office staff turn you off to this company.

They came out quickly and provided an estimate. They displayed all their paperwork(insurance). They were very prompt, efficient, and knew what they were doing. They did a good job of cleaning up.

Great customer service. It was a busy time for them, so we had to wait a few days to get an estimate. Once we got the estimate, work was scheduled for about a week later. The crew showed up at 7 am and was done around 8. They had four guys on it. It was only a 30' section, but they had it done quickly. We felt the workmanship was pretty good. Construction is straight and solid. If I were doing this myself I might have made sure the nailing was better (found more than a few dog eared nails). We have never used a fence company before so we don't know how to compare, but I believe the work was very good for the price.
