Don Pickett and Associates Inc is a family-owned corporation founded in 1988. Donald V. Pickett (Husband), Linda M. Pickett (Wife) & Michael Pickett (Son) jointly manage the company operations. We have evolved into a unique construction company that has a full service, in-house architectural design, drafting & civil engineering departments. This sets us apart from other contractors in that we are able to design & build your project. This helps streamline the process saving our clients time & money. Once designed the construction projects are carefully supervised & monitored daily by superintendents. We pride ourselves on working with the same subcontractors for many years helping us maintain an excellent reputation for quality & customer satisfaction. Our company evolved from prior family-owned construction companies which have been active in the building industry in Fresno since 1972. Prior business ownership includes P & D Construction, Inc. (Pat & Don Pickett) (1980-1988) & Pickett & Sons Construction Inc. (1972-1980) (Joe, Pat & Don Pickett). During these years, we have built over 700 industrial & commercial buildings & 225 custom homes in the Fresno area. Over the years we have been an active member of the Building Industry Association of the San Joaquin Valley, represented the industry on many streamlining issues & sat on advisory committees with the City of Fresno Development Department. The installation took approximately 2 & 1/2 days. The contractors and sub-contractors were very punctual and arrived in professional trucks ans work dress, They immediately went to work and there was no wasted time in visiting. At any time, if asked a question by me, they took the time to explain what they were doing and any options available.
They totally cleaned up after each day and at the end of the project, so we did not have to live in a mess in the garage. At the end of the project, they took time and effort to go over every detail and helped us to understand the operation of the system. The company uses master electricians and roofers to do their jobs, so we knew it was done right. Even the City Inspectors were complimentary of their work and said that normally they had few, if any, problems with Pickett's installations.
Pickett Solar Company exceeded our expectations, I would definitely use them again and I recommend them to anybody who is considering adding a solar system to their home or commercial building.
