Cobb's Tree Care

I have used Cobb's for numerous jobs over the years.  They have always done a stellar job. One reason I have chosen them is that they were good with pruning and trimming of established trees.
However, this last time that I utilized them, the quality of the trimming and pruning of the trees was less than what I had come to expect. Now I am looking on Angie's of who to use to do the job with more thought and care.

These guys were great!!!  We had a tree fall on our house & neighbors, no damage thankfully, and Cobbs Tree Service came out the same day I call them about the downed tree for the estimate and then to secure the tree off of both houses.  The next day, the same crew was out to remove the tree and to grind the stump.

Don't think there could possibly be better service.  Thanks Cobbs

These guys were great. Punctual, courteous, and a great price - I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I stayed home that morning to allow them access to the back yard and keep our dog indoors, and when they learned that, they made sure to take care of all the back yard first so that I could open the dog door and leave for work. I offered to pay before I left, but since the front yard work was not yet complete, they just sent a bill. It was like having a friend in the business.

They just did a very good job.

It took about a week for them to get us into their schedule. We have these awful trees that are loaded with spikey balls of torture. One of them hung very far into the next door neighbors drive way and one over their back fence, we also have a gorgeous 40+ year old pepper tree that shades the roof but was in dire need of trimming. They showed up right on time, the crew knew what they were doing and got right onto it. Their trims were done to accomplish the overall desired effect and keep the trees looking well balanced. When they left there wasn't so much as a stick left behind from their visit. In the year since they trimmed the trees are still beautiful, balanced and growing healthy. These folks are experts and we will be using them again when the trees need another pruning. I highly recommend this company.

They will strongly disagree with me, but I felt the first attempt at doing the job was very poor. That was just my opinion. They did not want to listen to my opinion when I tried to discuss it calmly. I seldom get angry, but have been known to do so when someone refuses to have a two way conversation, and when their tone is downright rude. I ended up raising my voice beyond what may have been necessary. Once I did they went ahead an did a tremendous job. So much so, that I decided I would use them again.
I set the appointment, and they called that morning saying they called me by mistake but would see me that afternoon. Just prior to our appointment time they called and said they would not do business with me in a rude tone, and hung up the phone. That tone reminded me why they got me angry to begin with, and made me wonder what possessed me to call them back. No one was right, but they were definitely not professional.

It took 2 days to do the job. They were careful with the landscape and the fence. Nothing was damaged. After cleaning the job site , they left. Great job!!!....

They are comming back in November to do the rest of the trees.

It went very well. I liked the estimator. He gives good advice about what kind of trees to replace. He does a good job of tree trimming. He leaves everything clean and neat. They are very good. They are very expensive. 

They did a good job and my flower beds and trees are doing very well.

I think the price was a little high, so that's why it's rated fair. I first called to request a quote in mid-February. They gave me an estimate which I approved and on March 7 they scheduled my service for March 15. I consider a one-month turnaround between my request and the actual work to be a little slow.  The work was scheduled for the morning of March 15.
The workers arrived right on time.  They appeared to be well qualified and were able to get to all parts of the tree needing pruning.  The had a chipper/shredder and so disposed of the trimmed branches.  They did a fine cleanup of the lawn and sidewalk under the tree.  I am happy with their work.

It went perfectly start to finish. He came to do an estimate right on time. The crew did an excellent job and cleaned up well when they left. They even cut the large branches for me and stacked it for firewood.

This is the second job that the company did for me. The estimator showed up on time, gave me an estimate and also came out with the workers to ensure that the work was done exactly as discussed.

There were a few slats broken out of the lattice fence when the vine was removed, but the fence was very old and weak and the vine was very mature and strong, so it was understandable. The workers explained that the damage had happened...didn't wait for me to discover it. It had already been mentioned as a risk, so I felt the whole thing was handled in a professional manner.

I am once again extremely pleased with their work. The trees look natural and beautiful. The vines are gone and I am very happy with my and quot;newand quot; garden.

I like that they knew what they were doing. They sent out an arborist who told me what all of the plants were and then let me decide if I wanted to take them out or not. He was really knowledgeable about everything. It was hard to schedule with them.

They use a natural organic fertilizer that works really well. The experience has been wonderful. They were referred to me. They were very friendly and always showed up on time. They cleaned up after themselves and did a good job. They really know trees. They always sent me reminders each year.

The tree fell before they got around fixing the leaning tree. I spent about $200 or $300 for the tree trimming. Everything was very good and I was very impressed with them. They were very professional and they did a very good job. They were also prompt and did exactly what they said they would do. Their pricing was very fair.

A supervisor came out and gave us an estimate after we called. He was helpful, answered questions, and didn't try to talk us into anything more than we wanted done (as did another company's representative). They came and did the work while we were gone, cleaned up everything nicely, and we were very pleased with the job. I plan to hire them again for more tree work this year.

They were very professional and always punctual. The person who came out was very personable and very nice. Recently I called them but it was impossible to get in touch with them. So I decided not to use them anymore as it was too hard to reach them. I think they are a little bit expensive for what they do. Their customer service is not good as far as calling back and setting up appointments. They are really bad in that area. It was either because they were going in transition or because there were no people there. I am trying to find a better tree service company now.
