California Closets - Fresno

Designer was new to us; had some personal issues and so some delay in service, but assisted by others on team. Very professional staff and installer. Very accommodating about a few minor adjustments later. Probably would use as rather a nut about consistency and quality is very good, though pricey, not a value purchase for our home.

Installer was very courteous and efficient. Product appearance is great!

It was painless. They are vcry pleasant.

I've always been happy with California Closets. I have used their services for over 19 years so when I needed a closet organized in my new home, I called them immediately. What amazes me is that their prices haven't really gone up since I last used them and it's been a while ago. My closet was installed very quickly and I am once again happy with the outcome. I will use them again in the future when I organize another closet.

First, they measured the area in which I needed closet remodeling. Then, they constructed the closets in their shop and lastly installed the new closets into my home. They transformed my pantry into a closet; installed drawers and shelves. They also installed rows of shelves, along with some drawers and a shoe rack in my bedroom closest as well. They also installed a light in my bedroom closet. Overall, I'm incredibly satisfed with their services and I would certainly recommend them.

I picked up a brochure about California Closets from Costco and went online before phoning for a consultation. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted before Holly came out to measure. She came on time, took the measurements, and answered all my questions. She sent me an email shortly afterwards with all the specifications. Two weeks later the installer came on time, and did a great job. I am very happy with my new closet!

Settled on Cal Closets because of Costco discount. Met with designer, Georgina Islas, within one week. Reviewed her designs the following week. Made minor revisions and approved design in less than one week. Installation two weeks after that. Designer and installers were punctual and professional. Finished product is attractive and seems well-built: not custom, but at least as good as IKEA cabinetry. Definitely use the Costco discount -- it saved us about 15%.

A designer came out to our house to take measurements, then returned a week later with a computer-generated model of what the jobs would look like, along with an estimate. The designer was very helpful in making suggestions and accommodating our requests. It took several months to actually get the work going after we had signed the contract. Part of this was that we were trying to have the work done at least partly on Saturdays, when we were home, but even separate from that, it seemed to take quite a while for the job to take place. It was also difficult to get call backs from the California Closets people. I had to repeatedly call the designer to get a return call, and finally ended up dealing directly with someone at the corporate office, at which point things started moving along. For the laundry room part, we agreed to have it done anytime, whether or not it included a Saturday, and it still took a few months to get things going. Despite those frustrations, I have to say the quality of the work was excellent. Once started, the jobs were finished quickly and in less time than originally predicted. The workers were very clean and left the areas with very little for us to clean up (other than some sawdust in the closet). On two of the three jobs, we were not completely satisfied with several issues, and the California Closets people came back and fixed everything perfectly. We are extremely happy with the finished product and would definitely use them again. Friends who see the work are very impressed. If California Closets would do better with returning phone calls and could also schedule jobs a bit quicker, we would have given them an A rating.

We discussed our plans with our consultant and we knew exactly what we were getting before it was installed. The computer program offered us 3-D pictures and total cost. The installers were on time, efficient, courteous, and cleaned up after the job was finished.

Did a remodel (3100 sq. ft.) in the Bay Area with Gary Bleile of California Closets about 9 years ago. Loved the work they/he did, so when I moved up here and bought a new house (4990 sq. ft., 6 bedrooms) I used them again. Gary takes your initial ideas and makes them 200% better. He's experienced and has a passion for making the customer happy. I had the work done in the Sacramento area about 5 years ago. I needed some reconfigurations (most you can do yourself, but my now teenage daughter needed 2x hanging space so I needed parts as well as work I couldn't/shouldn't do) so I called California Closets and asked for Gary. He promptly called back, stopped by, improved my initial ideas/design by 200% and scheduled the work. 2 days later, he came back, on time, did the work in less than an hour and thanked me for remembering to use them. And in exchange for taking a few parts I no longer needed, did not charge me anything. Customer service at its best!

They did a great job with the customization, the design and installation of the closet however they didn't return calls or provide estimates in a prompt fashion. They didn't perform very good follow up during the review of the designs, providing an estimate or viewing of the home. They however did appear very courteous and very tidy. What was scheduled to take two hours took three days due to inconsistency and lack of proper planning. In spite of the emotionally stressful experience, they did an amazing job with the closets. I was surprised that they did a great job on the final production of the closets. The hassle was worth it.

The product is beautiful and very fancy, they used very high quality materials. It is very elegant. They did a beautiful job.

THIS COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB ON MY CLOSETS. THE MEN THAT DID THE WORK WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EASY TO WORK WITH. THEY ALSO DID A VERY GOOD JOB ON MY GARAGE CABINETS.

GENERALLY IT WAS GOOD. WE'VE WORKED WITH THEM I THINK THREE OR FOUR TIMES IN THE PAST, AND THEY'RE THE ONES THAT WE CALL. MOSTLY BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK. IT LOOKED GOOD. WE DEVELOPED A LOYALTY TO THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE THAT COMES OUT.
