2 guys showed up and proceeded to replace my glass led bulbs with plastic ones. Thy apparently had never seen glass led bulbs. They assessed my furnace and confirmed it wasn't working. They asked me to clear any furniture away from windows so they could perform weatherization on the windows and to call back to set up a follow up appt once that was completed.. It took a week but After I moved all furniture including heavy items like beds and sofas away from the windows for clear access, I called to setup a return appt. It was another week for the follow up appt. 2 different guys came and again confirmed the furnace was not working. They then told me they don't perform weatherization on windows at all and left. I then called pG&E and wa told they ar supposed to apply caulking on all windows where needed. I think Bright Ideas is running a scam and telling PG&E they have provided services where they haven't and are getting paid for work they haven't performed.

I called the owner, Rafi, on a recommendation and he came by our home and went with my wife and i through each room and noted what work was to be done and said he would be back Monday to begin work. On Monday he said he was sorry but he had a good excuse and would begin tuesday of tyhe following week. Another emergengy but he logged us for sure to begin Monday, May  9. I called about 8:30am and he said he had a fever and was to see the doctor on Wednesday and could we just wait til today, Friday  May 13? I left a message Wednesday evening, asking him to call and confirm, It is now 1pm Friday, no show, no call. No work was ever done, no money was paid.
Response from Bright Ideas

"I went by the member's house and looked at the job as stated, and had him scheduled on Monday, May 9th. He had called me ahead of time to let me know he was not going to be home, I think he went out of town or something, it's been a while, so I can't remember exactly. I did have an emergency as well. We rescheduled it for Friday, May 13th. I don't remember exactly which day it was, but he either called me and cancelled for that particular time, and to my knowledge our understanding was, he would contact me when he was ready to go forward with things, but I did contact him today, on November 10, 2011, at 10:56am, and we both could not remember the details, but think we simply misunderstood one another. I gave him my business and cell numbers, and he said he would call me in the future if anything arises."

They had two employees working for them and they were great. They went into our attic and found some other things that needed repair. They noticed that the ducting on our AC wasn't put in right and it was falling apart. They said that is where we were losing a lot of our air so they went up there and fixed them for us. I thought the price was a little high, but the equipment was very professional and they did do a good job with the installations.
