BELL AIRE AC & HEATING

I have coverage through First American Home Buyers Protection. My air conditioning quit working on Wednesday evening, June 26. First American contacted Bell-Aire. When the repairperson arrived, he took a look at the air conditioning unit on the roof. He came down and told me that it needed a blower motor and he did not know if "the" warehouse had one in stock. If they did, the soonest he could install would be some time on Monday. (Today is Friday.) He was smiling and seemed to find it funny that I would have to do without air conditioning in Fresno until at least Monday. And, of course, if "the" warehouse did not have one in stock, then who knew how long it might take. When I called their office to find out if they could expedite the request, they told me that they had to follow the insurance company's procedures. They could not call the warehouse and check and then install today. The woman on the phone said that is just what I get for living in Fresno to have to put up with 108 degrees without air conditioning.

After that, I went online to check in with First American. I found that they had reassigned my claim to a new company. Apparently, Bell-Aire did not like it that I complained. So now I am starting over.

As stated, the whole thing was very smooth from start to finish.  Brent Smith, the owner/installer, also recommended someone to do the duct testing and that was a good experience as well.
