In general the problem was fixed but after he left I started thinking about why a 30 min job cost so much. I had received hourly quotes from others and while he didn't quote price over phone he stated that his rate to clear a drain was $55 and he would need to examine water heater to say what the problem was. The $55 rate was reasonable so I trusted it was about that for an hours work. When he diagnosed the problem I had no idea what the parts cost was but he had my water heater taken apart, I wanted it fixed and I trusted he was being fair with me about the $160.00. Dopey me I got ripped off! Why can't contractors just treat everyone ethically instead of acting like you are at a flea market trying to negotiate a price. I should not have to research symptoms and parts cost before calling a contractor. He also could have told me the part was covered under warranty which was obvious since it said on the label it was 12 years and the unit is obviously less than three years old. The actual part cost is $12 from lowes and the repair took 30 mins! Not happy.

They will tell you when they can come out and tell you what time they will be there and who is coming.  They are neat and clean and the prices are better than some of the larger companies. They also gave us a quote on a stoppage we had in our home and the price was so much less than the other company. They are very professional in the way they approach their work.  I will continue to use them in the future for any plumbing needs.
