ALAN'S TREE SVC

They removed a tree that was too close to the house and roots were interfering with the sprinkler system. Pruned several Japanese maple trees and one dogwood tree. Cleaned up the area when they were finished.

Alan is wonderful to work with. He communicated well and let me know what to expect. While giving me an estimate for service recently, he remembered my yard and that he had worked there before and removed a grapefruit tree. This was probably 15 years ago and, though I had been satisfied with the service, time passed and I had forgotten who had done the work. Yet he remembered! I will not forgot him again and am unlikely to use anyone else ever! He was friendly and considerate, took the time needed for us to understand each other, and gave me a clear and detailed estimate of planned work and included a 10% discount for seniors (anyone over 55). 
Alan's prices, though not the lowest, are quite competitive and fair, MUCH lower than other professional-quality well-known tree services I've had a bit of experience with. For many years, I have tried using several companies which offer rock bottom prices, yet none are as professional as I would like and each had at least some of the following problems: were not predictable when they arrived, the owner was not on site much, trees or bushes where over-trimmed, pricing was inconsistent or arbitrary, or communication was inadequate with me and/or his workers. In my opinion, it is well worth paying a small amount more to get such professionalism as Alan's provides!
On the day he arrived with his crew, Alan again walked around my yard with me and also included the head of his crew, so that we were all completely clear about the work to be done; the crew leader was therefore part of the process and not getting his instructions second-hand. (In an earlier tree job, after problems ensued, I had requested that a crew leader be included more in the communication, yet with Alan I didn't even have to ask. You don't have to ask Alan to be professional; he just is!) Though Alan left the site for awhile, he was personally present at both the beginning and end of the work period and made sure I was satisfied. Not only was the work excellent (my citrus trees have never looked so beautiful!), but also the atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful while having this crew in my yard. I was impressed by Alan's respectful dealings with both client and crew and his crew members seem happy working for him.
