I am in a mobile home, where nothing is "normal" in size. I bought a new bathroom vanity top that needed to be shortened by 1 1/2". I took the top to the site and they cut it and smoothed out the edge in a very short amount of time. I've yet to have it actually installed, but there shouldn't be any problem.

We are very happy with the outcome. April gave many good suggestions, ordered the sinks, toilets etc for us at very good prices (lower than internet prices), April and Victor were able to come up with good solutions when problems were found after the walls were removed.
Highly recommended.

We were very fortunate to find U-Save when searching for the right partner to handle the kitchen remodel in our condo. The design services offered by April were great and the work performed by her husband Victor was top notch. April was very helpful through the design process and patiently guided us through our many questions. We found their prices to be very competitive and the quality of materials beyond our expectations. When it came time to get down to business, we were told it would take a week to complete, and it did. Bravo! We would certainly recommend them to friends and family.
We later used them to replace our laminate flooring, and were quite pleased with these results as well.

It went perfect. They only issue was we had a really old pipe and they had to go get the part. They only charged $100 for labor and also took the other toilet. I had use them before and I'd definitely.

I saw U-Save's ad on Craigslist and visited their showroom. I was interested in purchasing the cherry shaker vanity that I saw online for my bathroom. When I got there, April took me through several options. At the time I thought installing a new kitchen counter top was out of my price range, but at U-Save, I saved and found out I could afford it!
April was extremely helpful and let me know all the steps to get my new countertop. I went home and measured the existing counter top, and based on the existing cabinetry she said I'd be able to fit in a larger undermount sink (I didn't realize this was a possibility). She also pointed out that we had enough of the counter top left to use the remaining kitchen counter top for the vanity. After finalizing our details on a Wednesday, we talked about them installing in about a week. To my amazement, she called later that day and said they had a cancellation two days later, would it be possible to install everything on Friday. She said they'd show up at 10:00, and at 10 on the dot they were there. Her team measured everything on site and custom cut the kitchen counter tops precisely to fit my cabinets. They were done with everything - demolition, cutting and installation 5 hours later, and my kitchen looked beautiful. I was so pleased by how wonderful their work was and how quick everything happened. I've never done any remodeling before, and am currently involved in a big house remodel. I can't believe how smoothly mine has gone so far. I'd recommend U-Save without hesitation. They had a great combination of excellent quality, service and price. I have heard of some installers who only work on one side of the bay or other. U-Save is located in Fremont, but they had no problem (or complaint) coming to San Mateo for my job.
I just ordered a Toto toilet from them that April is going to deliver tomorrow. They're the best. After seeing how quickly and smoothly my kitchen job went, my friend is now going to use them to do her entire kitchen.

I have used them more than once. They provided very good service. They were extremely responsive and provided very responsible service. Their price was great, but they were not the cheapest. Their service made up for it, though. The service that they performed the last time when I had some problems was for free because it was within warranty.

U-save offers quality products (e.g. Toto toilet and washlet, hardwood cabinets) at a very reasonable, if not the best price you can find in the Bay Area. What particularly impresses me is not only their product but their service and flexibility. The co-proprietor, April is very smart, customer-centric and flexible. It has been a delightful experience dealing with her. Here is a rundown and detailed review of what I bought from them. - Hardwood (red oak) kitchen cabinets - solid products, not top of the line, but suffice for most fashionable kitchen remodeling at ~$3100 for a ~250 sq ft kitchen. My contractors commented that this is a very good price for what I got. - Granite including installation - excellent workmanship, and April even came up with different ideas of how I could use up the remaining piece, although I didn't go with them, I still very much appreciated her thoughtfulness. April is not the type of hard-sell, up-sell car salesman-proprietor, she always finds innovative ways to save money. - Kitchen sink, range hood, faucet - all quality products with contemporary design at amazing prices - 2 new Toto toilets and 1 Toto washlet, I have yet to install the washlet, but so far I am very happy with my new water-conserving toilet, and April was very helpful in reminding me of obtaining rebate from the County for my new toilets. This outfit is a blessing for me to get the clean, contemporary look I want without breaking the bank. Do not be mistaken that they carry "cheap" stuff, if you are looking for rock-bottom priced, Home Depot me-too stuff, this is not the place for you. But if you are willing to pay slightly more for quality products, they probably offer the best deal in the Bay Area. The downside is their lack of choice, so for every item, you only have 2-5 choices, which works for me because they tend to carry simple and elegant designs to my liking. April is also bending over backwards in customer service, she returns emails and calls late at night and over the weekends. I am very happy with my shopping experience there and I will go with them again on my guest quarter once I finish remodeling the main house. You owe it to yourself without checking them out first when you remodel kitchen and bath.
