They weren't punctual. We waited a couple of days because they were really busy and they didn't have enough people who knew how to cut and run them through the equipment so we left the shades and they called us when they were ready and we went to pick them up. Out of the eight shade, only one shade was cut properly so we took the measurements and went back to the store. So, they cut them again and when we tried it on the windows, they were not rolled as tight as they should have been. We had a wobbling line at the edge of the shade. We called them and they told us that they only had two people who knows how to do this job and we already used one person and consequently, it didn't work for us. So, my husband did the cutting himself. The price was excellent and cheaper as compared to the other company but it was a very poor experience with them. They couldn't do what they said they could do. We will use them again in the future but not for this particular service.

Lowe's Home Improvement did when they say they would. One guy did the whole job in one day and it was a pretty good job.

I love Lowe's. But they have cut their staff. There wasn't anyone in the department when we arrived so we had to wait. Sometimes though you can find products there that you can't find in other places.

Purchased a 48 inch bathroom vanity and storage cabinet. Items were delivered about 4 weeks later. My initial experience with Dan was positive and he seemed knowledgeable and interested. When the cabinets were available for pickup, the storage cabinet was damaged. This was sent back for replacement. Upon pickup, I had to wait 45 minutes at the Lowe’s Special Order desk to have the cabinets s to be brought up to the front of the store. The initial clerk forget to ask the stockroom clerk to obtain the items, and the second waited for 15 minutes before handing the pick slip needed to obtain the items from their stockroom. I received the repaired storage cabinets about 2 weeks later. Although Dan had said he had inspected the unit, it was missing its doors which I had to make a third trip to the store to retrieve. Upon installation, we found that the kick and extension boards were missing. These are common parts for all cabinets and should have been included in the order. My contractor had to fashion his own extension piece at my cost. I had to call Dan three times to obtain the kick piece. Overall I was not satisfied with the experience. The overall quality of the cabinets as average. I recommend that for the price, you could obtain a better quality cabinet from a local cabinet maker.

6/6/2011: I have increased my overall rating from a D to a C. Although the process of purchasing this item was unacceptable, the quality is better than average and I was finally able to obtain all of the necessary parts and accessories. (this is unfortunately not true with other vendors)

I liked the display, the descriptions and prices. I found their sales department extremely knowledgeable. I also bought a door from their other location and I found the same expertise. They seemed to have more service personnel. There was good follow up in terms of phone calls about the installation and the problems I had. There were no keys in the box for the door that I bought. I had to call a locksmith and they paid for it. They were on time and I got the dishwasher at a discounted price. I would use them again.

Their customer service is impeccable. They broke my kitchen sink by accident and there was no arguing or anything. They came in and assessed the situation. I got three different bids and they let me choose my contractor. I have not ever dealt with a company that did not give you a hard time. They did not like the lowest bid because it did not cover the scope of the work and they told me to choose from the other two. They are just excellent.

We have a Char Broil BBQ and while moving it we lost the main grill. We went to Lowe's but they didn't have the right replacement part in stock. We needed the grill piece for a BBQ we were having very soon, so we didn't have time to wait for the new piece to come in. The guy in the BBQ area grabbed the grill off of a floor model and told us to ask a manager in customer service if we could purchase it and they would order a replacement for the show model. Then manager was very prompt getting to the customer service desk, and when he heard our story he let us take the grill no charge. Thanks Lowe's! We'll definitely be shopping here again knowing how much they value their customers.

Gail, who assisted us in the design and recommendations of the cabinets, was very knowledgeable and professional. The installation went well. It was a positive experience. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.
