Specializing in residential garage doors and openers,I am a sole propriator with 27 years of experiance. I handle all sales and service for my company and employ my brother and my son to install the products I sell. We are a family owned and operated business. We do not sub-contract any of our work out. We take pride in our craftsmanship, and install only the products we feel are the highest quality for our customers.

I called chandler's from yellow pages. They gave me a quote for garage door replacement with insulated door. Later they came down and in few hours replaced the door but the quality of work was bad. The door was not installed properly as there was a bend which was clearly visible. I called them and they came and tried to fix it but still it is slightly bent and easily visible from outside. Not only that the door was pushing against the door opening bar and now due to heavy friction the clutches are broken. So now the door does not open automatically. I paid the price for putting this new door which they improperly installed and that has now damaged my door opener. When I called them they said they'll charge me full price for replacing the door opener. Bad experience. Member Comments: 1. The door was improperly installed. 2. They tried to fix it but did not fix it all the way 3. As a result over time the door opening clutch has worn out due to heavy friction 4. The door opener is now non-functional 5. They are quoting full price to fix their own problem Bad experience.

"The rest of the story: the Member's door was installed four years ago. We had a problem with an installer at the time and we let him go. I went and re-installed his door personally and the door worked perfectly. (and still does) His used opener was re-installed to the new door. Four years later he is complaining about something that wears out under normal use. His opener is about ten years old and has no warranty from us."

THE INSTALLER WAS PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH AND DID A GOOD JOB. ESPECIALLY WITH THE DIFFICULT INSTALLATION OF THE GARAGED DOOR OPENER. (WE HAVE A LOW BEAM IN THE WAY WHICH MADE THE INSTALLATION DIFFICULT.)
