Absolute Electric

Moved to East Bay in December 2013. Dave came to us through a trusted channel - a referral from our A/V Consultant. We initially hired Absolute Electric as a 3rd party contractor to wire our home theater (surround speaker wiring, Plasma TV wiring/mounting and providing the correct power to run the system). When we realized that our new home had limited recessed lighting and what was here was old incandescent, Dave removed all the existing lighting, retrofitted new LEDs and also installed over a dozen new LED recessed lights. Dave is a pro, his work is clean and he delivers on your expectations.
One of the recessed lights started flickering (bad LED Driver) 5 months after install, we contacted Dave and he was out to replace the fixture w/in days. He guarantees all his work. We'll be reaching out to Dave next time we need electrical work. He is the best.

Dave always called us back when he said he would and kept the original appointment time for replacement of the main electric panel and showed up early on the date scheduled for replacement. He was always more than willing to answer any questions I had concerning the job and also answered questions I had for future work. Dave and his helper were very friendly and I might say I was pleased to see his work truck clean and organized. The whole job went smoothly with the city inspector and PGand E showing up in a timely manner as Dave kept things organized.

Dave, the owner and his team were very professional, competitive with their prices, and took the time to explain everything that would be needed to bring my mother's home up to code. He was very knowledgable, organized, and consistently came when he said they would. He answered all of our questions competently, clearly explaining the rationale for the work that was needed, the pricing and any options. I never felt that he was pressuring us into adding any extras, but explained the issue and let us make the decision to move forward with the fixes that would bring the house to code safely. He was flexible, and took on additional jobs, such as switching out a chandelier, for a fair price. He documented all of his work clearly and cleaned up after himself. I was so impressed that I want to hire him to upgrade the electrical in my Fremont home! Highly recommend
