The only reason I used him was because he was the only local electrician. I think he started out trying to charge me $120 for his time and for what he did but, he didn't finish it because we got into an argument. He just thought I was stupid and that he could do the minimum. It was not going to work the way it should. It wasn't just because I was being picky or had my own ideas about how it should work. There is a standard way of doing it. He advertised himself as a licensed electrician. Then he should know what the standard is. So, before he began, I asked him what the cost would be and he gave me a price. Then, when he started working, he found all of this and that and the other thing that was wrong that had to be fixed and the price just kept going up and up and up. He thought I was so stupid that I wouldn't know that what he was doing was talking garbage. It was just crap.
