Jim was honest, interesting, funny and always punctual. he came out and gave me an estimate of a $1000 to repair a leak in a manifold and replace 16 jets. Jim came out and spent over an hour cleaning the section of work to be able to order what he needs. he came back with the parts closest that match my old jacuzzi, and once he started work to install, he stopped and informed me of the quality of the spa and the issues. Jim was honest and didn't want to do anything that wouldn't be fully satisfactory, he informed me that even if we repaired it there was issues with the structure of the jacuzzi and it will continue to leak and possibly the leak would travel due to the air bubbles in the body. he recommended we stop and not install anything and instead use the funds to find/replace the jacuzzi. I very much appreciate the honest, its a breath of fresh air now a days. He even got me in touch with a friend that wants to get rid of a much newer jacuzzi which needs minor work (compared to the price of buying).
I would hire Jim again in a heart beat, specially if I get the used jacuzzi that he mentioned or even if I buy new/used and ever need any work.

We have been having intermittent problems with our pool pumping system for about a year. I have spent hours priming the system to get the water circulating again. My pool guy couldn't figure out what was going on and said we might need a new pump. We had used Jim (Turbo) to install our heater a few years ago and he was great so we gave him a call. He came over between calls about twenty minutes later and within 5 minutes had figured out the problem. Our pool guy had started putting an extra chlorine tablet on the lip of the pool return and, when people splashed around a bit, it was becoming wedged in the flap that drops down. The tablet would eventually dissolve, which is the reason it was intermittent. While there he showed me how to prime the pump without buckets of water and gave me several other tips. Total charge? 0. Jim is a great guy that is honest, generous and deserves any business this entry might give him. Oh, yeah. Funny, too!

Great. We communicated quite a bit by text because of the differences in his schedule and mine. He came, he saw, he diagnosed, he ordered the necessary part and he came back & installed. Our spa had been unusable for quite some time and now it's great!

Great service and quick replacement of my spa pump. I initially called Jim and explained how my pump was not working. He offered to guide me through a troubleshooting of my spa over the phone, which he hoped would fix my problem - at no cost. Jim said something similar to ' wouldn't it be nice if you could fix it yourself and save a few hundred dollars'?
Friends, that's customer service.
Unfortunately, my pump could not be fixed over the phone - it was fried.....
Jim came out the next day, confirmed my pump was dead and ordered me a new one. The pump came in two days and he installed it the next.
My spa is working great now thanks to Jim. I called another spa place first before calling Jim. They told me it would take a week to come see me. Needless to say, I did not hire them. Jim is very responsive and is quite funny. I've never come across a guy who sends you a picture of himself before he shows up.. just so you know who he is when he comes knocking at your front door. That's awesome!
I'd recommend Jim to anyone who needs spa repair.

I was more than pleased with Jim/owner of turbo spa. He came out on a tues. diagnosed the problem for two j valves that allow my spa to work. This system is over 35 years old. On Friday night (dark) Jim came out and fixed the equipment. I asked him on tuesday if he could get it repaired by Sunday because I had people coming over for a party. Blew my mind (in a good way) that he came out so late. I was hanging over his shoulder the entire time and he had no problem with my and quot;WATCHINGand quot; the entire process. He was spot on and treated me with respect. He is my go to guy for as long as I live in my house. I would recommend him to anyone but especially to women. He does not talk down or try and pull a fast one. This man is the real deal and I appreciated his honestly and his ability to fix old equipment as opposed to ripping it out and putting new equipment in. I would not have been able to afford that.

He was very funny, punctual and knowledgeable. When we purchased the recommended model he quickly returned for installation and wiring. It was difficult to find someone w/dry sauna knowledge. He is it for sure!!!

Once the spa was refilled, I couldn't get it to work. I called him back. He tried to troubleshoot over the phone. When that didn't work, he came back to the house, made an adjustment and it worked! He didn't even charge me for that last visit.
He's a bit quirky but I loved it. More pleasant than a stiff, serious repair guy.
He knows his stuff.
He texted me a picture of himself before he came for the first time. I knew who to expect.
I hope I don't him again but if I do, I won't hesitate to call him for service. Definitely would recommend him to others.

Jim was a very nice. This was hectic week with my son's wedding reception in two days. The day Jim came I had kids being tutored, dogs barking and wedding decorations all over the house. He went out to the electric box and quickly found that vines had entered the box causing a possible short. He reset the electric box (I know I should have checked but, things were hectic) and was ready to go. When I asked what we owed him for his time he said and quot;No Chargeand quot;. So unexpected! I will definitely use him in the future and am so grateful for his quick response.

Love turbo spa, this man knows his stuff and tried to save me money because we had such extensive damage. He also repairs pool equipment and I wouldn't hesitate to call him for that as well.
