The shower enclosure had numerous problems:
A premium baked-in anti-spot treatment was ordered and paid for but not done. Style later claimed that it was not ordered or paid for. This problem was caused by sloppy, incomplete paperwork and too many different employees being involved and disorganized.
The door self-closed too fast and too hard. It slammed against an unnecessary door stop on one of the stationary glass panels causing a panel to shatter. I had the enclosure examined by a professional structures engineer licensed by the State of California, experienced technicians from four other glass bath enclosure companies, and an inspector from the city building department. All their reports confirmed that the glass broke because of the faulty installation. These experts also found several other additional faults with the enclosure. In spite of all this, Style refused to accept any responsibility to replace the broken glass.
Style has also refused to provide the ordered and paid for anti-spot process.
From the day I placed my order the owner of Style has refused to see me, take my phone calls, return my phone calls, or answer my letters. I filed a complaint with the California State Contractors License Board. The CSLB sent their own industry expert to examine by enclosure. He found an additional fault. The CSLB has forced Style to submit to binding arbitration with me.
