Pat and his company came highly recommended by our neighbors. He had done windows and doors on at least three houses on our street. Pat came promptly to measure our door. It took a while to order and had the door installed. They are busy, which I a good thing. We went with the Milgard Tuscany series. Just a basic sliding door, no frills, but very beautiful and super easy to open. The workers arrived on time and took about 3 hours to install. They took great care to cover our wood floors and cleaned up afterwards. We paid a little over $2200. It’s not cheap, but the quality and professionalism are worth it. I would definitely go to Pat for any future windows.

In each of those situations noted above, the work was outstanding and workers were very nice to talk to, they started on both jobs on time and did not stop until the project was finished. Several of my neighbors talk about my new windows and slider and will be contacting Pat when the time is right to have their homes upgraded like mine. Thanks Pat

CAL REP did a fantastic job on the installation of my replacement windows. The owner, Pat Sullivan, came out to my house personally to do the measuring.  He was personable, knowledgeable and customer service was a top priority.  He also happened to be in the showroom when I visited to look at the windows and he took the time to personally show me the various windows I was considering.  They had installed a replacement sliding door about 10 years ago and I liked them, so I asked them to estimate my window replacement project.  They provided an excellent price for a top quality window. All questions were thoroughly answered and responded to quickly.  Installation was scheduled for today, they arrived right on time, sent a crew of 5 men including a very knowledgeable foreman.  The job was extremely well done and in much less time than I anticipated.  They were very careful of all aspects of my home, did a thorough job of cleaning the windows, cleaned up well after themselves.  I was getting rid of some of my window treatments and they were kind enough to remove them and put them in my garage for disposal later on.  Everyone is very customer focused, they want to do a good job and make the customer happy.  I highly recommend them. 

The installers were on time and spent no time in removing and replacing the new windows without even a coffee break or lunch break. Everything was great, one of the best home improvement experience I've had. I was reluctant at that time to replace the 12 foot slider in the living room then but I have contacted Pat and told him, I guess I need to have that slider replaced ASAP to match everything. Looking forward in having this done soon

The service representative "Louis Zamora" did an excellent job for  the estimation and continued the communication with the customer regarding the window replacement process.  He is professional and responsive.  I highly recommend him and this company to anybody including my friends who need such service.

That was really good. They were down to earth, easily accessible and the pricing was great. They gave me a really good deal and I didn't have to haggle with them.

Installers were very professional. They showed up on time and took care of all the details.  Windows look great.

The owner showed up promptly to provide a detailed quote. The price was in the midrange of the 5 quotes I received. He answered all of my questions. On installation day a 2 man crew showed up on time and installed 5 windows and a patio door. They cleaned up all the debris inside my house but forgot a few pieces outside of my patio wall. They also left a shim in one of my windows which they removed a week later. Overall they were friendly and professional and I was happy with the installation and the price.

They showed up and completed the work as scheduled.  Everything is in and looks good.  No problems to report - now 3 months after install

They did a great job! We had a lot done. Those glass doors cost an arm and a leg. I have my sliding glass doors and they work great. If  I would recommend them to a friend, I would say "Go for it." You get what you pay for. I don't look for the best price, I look for the best value and that means you have to pay a little more. Am I happy with the price? Hell no, I'd love to have the job done for a $1.95 but I'd be very concerned if they agreed to a price like that! Am I disappointed in the price? No. I'll give them a B+ on the price or you can put an A on it because when the job was finished, I stepped back and said "We'll bring them again." They did what they were supposed to do and they did it on time. I have a couple more windows to do and I think they're the go-to guys.

The product was good. The install was excellent. The timeliness and install was all very good. They did a nice job of doing a replacement window install. They cut the windows inside the brick moulding around the window to look like an original window and sealed it to the window frame, instead of having the flange up over the outside. It was just a very professional looking install. It was something that they had to cut down and do professionally. It was a little more labor intensive, but I was really happy with the way it works. The quality of the windows was excellent. We knew what we were buying for windows. We also bought shutters from them. The shutters are excellent. They were quite delayed and I'm not sure why. I think that the shutter company that they use was changing the model that we ordered. It was just kind of a fluke. It wasn't exactly what I thought I was getting, but they were even better. Because it was so delayed in delivering them, they knocked 10% off. I was OK with that. And especially with the installing of the shutters I was exceedingly happy with. The model that I ordered ended up being better and it was exactly what I wanted. That was kind of a fluke, but there was really no downside to what they delivered. It is a split control shutter, with an upper and a lower half. There were hidden controls and they worked extremely well and I've been very happy with them. I would recommend them to anybody. The shutter thing I don't completely hold against them, because I think Norman was changing the product in the middle of our delivery and for some reason it was delayed. Their prices were competitive. I've referred them to several other people and they were extremely happy with the product. I am happy with what they did for me, because it keeps my upstairs on the south side just totally cool. Their whole process and price was excellent.

Fantastic!  Pat Sullivan was very responsive, from initial meeting, proposals, and install.  On time, within our budget, and spent much time prior to installing to understand and work with us on exactly what we wanted the final look to be.  Install went smoothly (thanks to Jeff and Pat) and the final product looked just like the original.  Couldn't be more pleased with the result!  We originally thought we would have to use vinyl units, but when Pat came out to the house to measure for a proposal, I had mentioned that it was too bad we couldn't use aluminum since it would match the existing house, and he said "Milgard makes an aluminum unit, but it's not hardly used anymore".  With that insight, we basically got custom-made aluminum insulated sliding doors that were perfect matches!  All because Pat spoke up and steered us in the direction we were hoping for instead of going with the usual vinyl doors.  Quoted delivery time was right on, as well as the install schedule.  They also took great pains in making the install as efficient as they could for us, since the work was both interior (around an atrium) and exterior.
We commend Pat on the way he does business, his courtesy, and his crew he had do our work.  We have told people about using his company, and will definitely recommend them and use him in the future!

One of two estimates that we sought out, their bids were similar but we chose Cal Rep for several reasons.  First of all, the person who came for the estimate, Pat, was professional and took the time to understand what we were looking for and then proceeded to carefully take the necessary measurements for all the windows and doors.  He provided suggestions and alternatives as we went room to room which was very helpful for the style of windows we decided on.  In addition, they had recently completed work for a friend of ours and they were very satisfied with the quality of the installation.

They had also brought to my attention the requirements that Redondo Beach had in relation to the maximum height a couple of the windows in two of the bedrooms.  They took the time to verify the requirements with the city and took care of the permitting process.  This was not brought up with the other company.

The installation work took a total of 3 days.  Two days for all the windows and doors except for the front door which was done later due to availability.  The crew was professional and friendly, was careful to try and keep the areas protected from debris, and cleaned up after themselves. 

Two of the windows had to be lowered so the windows there were actually replaced vs. retrofitted.  The did an excellent job and the stucco work was good as well.

California Replacement window company was fabulous.  They came out to provide me with a consult about a window
that was not working properly.  California window company was so honest about the fact that I only needed a few replacement 
parts for the window costing around 45 dollars.  I was so amazed at their honesty.  I actually had previously had the window repaired by a local handyman and he charged me 150 dollars and then the window stopped working a day after they repaired it.  California Replacement ordered the parts for my window.  The parts arrived but the manufacturer sent the wrong size.  California Replacement was so apologetic  about the situation and told me that they would fix my window for free.  My window is working perfectly!!
California Replacement fixed my window for free, didn't charge me for the supplies or anything!!  The repairman and the owner were just so amazing!  I really appreciate their honesty and the fact that they didn't charge me.  I so appreciate companies that value their customers.

job went great.  Done on time.  a Quality job.  Product works great, not only from the thermal standpoint but from out side noise insulation.  They even went the extra mile when sealing the installation by sealing a couple of small neighboring cracks in the stucco.  They'll do the rest, when I get around to scheduling it.

Originally contacted this contractor to get an estimate.  They were the first of three companies we had selected to screen for performing this service - all those selected were from Angie's list. We were were impressed by their salesman, who was also the owner.  Eventually he was the low bidder. during the initial contact he carefully  explained their procedures for getting this done. He told us that we would receive a phone call from them when they had a delivery date from the manufacturer and sure enough about 3-4 weeks later that call came giving us about two weeks warning.
The day before scheduled delivery the manufacturer called to confirm that we would be home to receive the delivery and gave us a two hour window when their people would be there. Sure enough well within that time frame they arrived and promptly delivered the windows.
The following day, at the scheduled time,  a crew from California Replacement Windows showed up  and went right to work.  The original estimate was that it would take the crew about 1.5 days to complete the installation,.  Instead they stayed a few extra hours the first day and completed the install.  All during the day they were cleaning up after themselves and by the time they left, our house was completely free of any debris that they may have caused ,all the manufacturer's stickers had been removed and all windows were cleaned and the house left clean as a whistle. 
Needless to say, we are happy with the process as well as the end product.  Thank you!
