Norm did a nice job of replacing a load bearing wooden pillar on our front porch, matching paint color and finishing. He used a metal base plate to reduce contact with water in the future (not present on original pillar) and ended up building a little enclosure around this base plate to make it look good. He was very reasonable with the cost of extra time to make up this enclosure and did not charge for time taken to remove our front door to inspect the sweep/seal on the underside of the door. Norm was bang on time for our appointment, and was courteous and efficient. I will certainly call on Norm again for future jobs.

I needed a handyman to do several things in my home; Happy To Fix It Handyman has excellent reviews so I called to make an appointment. I was so happy that I didn't get a voicemail; Norm the owner, answered my call. l explained that my husband has Alzheimer's and takes a long nap in the afternoons, and he said he would be able to accommodate any time convenient for me. We made the appointment and Norm was right on time; that was impressive! I showed Norm the things that needed to be done; he made his shopping list and went to Orchard Supply Hardware; later he called and said that he had to go to Home Depot also because some items weren't available at OSH. I really appreciated that call to let me know his status. Norm came to my home three times to complete all the work; I really appreciated his flexibility to accommodate my husband's long nap. Norm is friendly, very pleasant, efficient, reliable, professional and did exceptional work. Everything Norm did in my home was done with care and precision. The stair case railings are beautiful! I could see that he really enjoys his work and enjoys helping people. I absolutely would recommend Happy To Fix It Handyman for your next project or maintenance needs.

Norm took care to get an excellent result, even though the job was more difficult than either of us expected it to be.  The closet is as good as new.

Very happy.   Norm seems totally trustworthy, very efficient and a really nice guy too.  He did an extremely professional job on all the projects and will definitely be using him again.  I only gave him a B on price as no doubt there are cheaper Handy Men but frankly I believe you get what you pay for and I thought he was worth every penny :-) 

Norm showed up on time, every time.  He completed all work impeccably.  He had an issue with the material he used to repair the woodwork which resulted in him needing to spend much more time than he estimated and he didn't charge me at all for the work because of the inconvenience.  I will definitely have him come back and I highly recommend him.

Norm arrived right on time. He had all of the necessary tools and supplies, including the new door frame. He went right to work and was very diligent. He's very conscientious and detail-oriented. Although the thermostat installation involved some complicated rewiring, he figured it all out and installed the thermostat. The tile on my kitchen counters looks amazing, and the door frame looks perfect. He's quite personable and a very trustworthy person. The cost was very fair (less than I was quoted by others) and the work was outstanding. I would highly recommend him. I'll certainly be contacting him for any work I need done in the future!

I spoke with Norm on the phone with a concern about a rental property - and thought we decided not to use his services right away, he was VERY helpful and provided three references for vendors that would be more appropriate. VERY professional and helped me out a lot!

As usual, Norm showed up at the time he said he would. He got the job done in a reasonable amount of time and cleaned up everything after he finished the job. Norm was respectful and professional and he didn't overcharge me for his services. I highly recommend him.
