MIRANDA ANIMAL RESCUE

I am still shaking and in a state of disbelief that this happened. I've never been treated like this. I had (God forbid) walked into the store with a drink in my hand. Wendy came RUNNING up to me SHOUTING "Can't you read the sign? No Drinks in here!!" I immediately turned on my heel to leave the store and took 2 steps. Evidently this did not satisfy her, since she continued screaming at me, running up behind me, then began PUSHING AND SHOVING ME out of the store with both hands, verbally insulting me all the while.. I had to yell BACK OFF right in her face to get her to step away and take her hands off of me. I was extremely afraid and upset, since she literally assaulted me from behind. After I demanded in a loud voice several times for her to take her hands off of me and step away, she finally did; allowing me to make my exit and call the sherriff. I certainly hope that Brian, her boss, does the right thing this time to protect his customers and his store's reputation, not to mention lawsuits. I am sorry to have to post this, but the public has a right to be forewarned. I love thrift shopping and have spent tons of money in this store in the past. UPDATE : Today, MARCH 27, 2014, through a conference call with Miranda's high level management, the issue has been resolved to my satisfaction. They have taken appropriate steps, in my opinion, to prevent future such disasters and expressed their sincere regret to me. I will continue to shop and recommend Miranda's
